2022-23 Chairman, Greater Hall Chamber
The RIGHT TO VOTE is much deeper than just a right. It is the means for expressing our beliefs. It is our duty-bound obligation to vote. We owe this honor, not only to ourselves, but also to those who have come before us and to future generations.
Our private and individual ballots woven together create the election results for our community. On a larger scale, our ballots and those from other state-wide communities create the election results for Georgia. Likewise, our collective ballots, on a much broader scale, woven together with ballots of people from other states, create the election results for our nation. Yet, it all starts with
After all ballots have been counted and we know the results, please plan to participate in the Greater Hall Chamber's Annual Eggs & Issues Breakfast on December 8th (7:30-9:30am) at Lanier Technical College. Our Hall County Legislators will be there and the newly elected legislators from the November 8 General Election.
In college, I had a political science professor who told our class, “You have the right to vote. If you choose not to exercise that right and don’t vote, you have no right to complain.” I tend to agree with that. I encourage you to participate in this important process. It makes a differ ence. You owe it not only to yourself, but to those who came before us and those who will follow. Go Vote!
Absentee-by-mail ballot applications for the November 8, 2022 General Election are now being accepted. The Hall County Elections Office begins mailing ballots on October 11. The last day to submit an application and request a ballot is October 28. Early Voting is Monday, October 17 – Friday, November 4. Hall County voters can go to any of the seven polling locations regardless of where in the county they reside or are registered to vote. hallcounty.org/249/Elections
