NEIGHBORHOOD NEWS
Rezoning Awareness Committee In the early 2000’s there was a significant amount of growth in the areas surrounding Hamilton Mill. To ensure that our home values were protected during this high growth period we had a Rezoning Awareness Committee that stayed in touch with Gwinnett County on re-zoning requests and ensured our homeowners were aware of those that could have a large impact to Hamilton Mill. As development slowed down in the surrounding areas that committee was not as critical and therefore ceased to exist. Recent re-zoning requests such as the currently proposed request by Brand Properties as well as the announcement from State Senator Chuck Efstration regarding a potential city of Mill Creek has prompted the Board of Directors to reestablish this committee. The purpose of the committee would be to ensure homeowners are aware of any re-zoning request within a certain distance of Hamilton Mill. If you are interested in joining this newly formed committee, please send an email to hmillboard@gmail.com
Thank you,
