Hello Neighbors, Thank You, Thank You, Thank You! As the Toys for Tots Liaison for our community, you made my job easy once again! We had a late start after Thanksgiving this year, but we had no problem “making up for lost time”. In less than two weeks Harbour Point opened their generous hearts to the less fortunate children in Hall County. The pick up driver for the toys was so overwhelmed when he saw our boxes over flowing with wonderful toys, even a new BICYCLE! He did mentioned to me that the donation boxes have been less than plentiful this year and many of those boxes have been filled with used and broken toys. You all are AMAZING!! The Harbour Point Community Association Board of Directors would like to announce some changes as we enter 2021. Everyone knows that 2020 has been a trying year with the pandemic and how everyone worked together to try and keep the neighborhood active and safe. We have had many changes throughout the year and worked to keep you updated with as much information as we could. We continue to utilize the Governor’s executive orders to guide our decisions.

The first change we are making is contracting a new property management company. Effective December 1st, Advantage Community Management will have the responsibility of managing our community. You will be receiving your assessment notices from ACM for the first quarter of 2021. We will have a new onsite property manager, Chery Turner. Cheryl will be available three days a week for 4 hours a day. Her schedule will be as follows: 10-2 both Tuesday and Wednesday and 7-11 on Thursday. Should you need assistance from Cheryl, please schedule a time during these hours. Cheryl can be reached at manager@harbourpointlakelanier.com or 404-537-1253. As you have noticed, our website has been experiencing difficulty maintaining correct information and updates. This was primarily due to Shaben’s, difficult conversion to a new property management system. Therefore, the second change we are making is segregating our own website to maintain our information for the community. We want to make it an interactive site for everyone to utilize. We will provide an information sheet in the quarterly mailings and ask you to validate your information and return the completed form.

The third major change is that we are making email our primary vehicle for communications and billing assessments where legally allowable to do so. This will save residents money and streamline HOA operations. We know we have a few people who may require regular mail, and we will accommodate those as a separate request. If you do not opt in for receiving print mail the default choice selected for you will be email unless we are legally required to provide something via US mail. We know we will have a few hiccups as we move forward with these changes. We ask your patience and understanding as we proceed. If you have an issue, please let us know and we will work to resolve it. Finally, we would like to thank all our previous board members, committees and volunteers that help make Harbour Point a great community. You all truly make a difference. HPYC HOA Board

Eagle Ranch serves up to 42 boys and 24 girls, giving the structure, stability and time needed to work through a crisis situation. Located in Flowery Branch, Eagle Ranch helps children and families in more than 40 counties in North Georgia and Metro Atlanta. Additionally, the Ranch has a variety of outreach efforts designed to educate and support families, therapeutic professionals, children’s programs and non-profit organizations across the United States and worldwide.
