SOCIAL NEWS
Independence Day Blowout! June in Hamilton Mill wrapped up with an AWESOME Independence Day event, with over 1200 in attendance to see the Fireworks Extravaganza! On Saturday, June 26, we had food trucks, a photo booth, balloon art, glow sticks, a stilt walker and LIVE BAND KARAOKE with our friends from Saved by the Band. We had so much fun watching kids and adults go up and sing with the band! We heard everything from Garth Brooks, to Prince, to 80’s hair metal, to Katrina and the Waves! At dark, our guitar soloist played the Star-Spangled Banner, and the fireworks show began! It was definitely a night to remember! One Saturday, July 3, we had DJ Dan spinning tunes and playing trivia and pool games at the Lakeview pool. We also had Glenaire resident, Ashley Appling come out and raffle off AWESOME prizes for the 4th of July, including Yeti cups, a Yeti cooler, Top Golf gift cards and more! Ashley would like residents to know how grateful he was to be a part of the event. “I want to give a huge thanks to the Hamilton Mill Activities committee for allowing Universal Roofing and myself to sponsor the July 4th pool party. Our community is why we are in business and it was an amazing experience to see everyone enjoying themselves and getting the chance to win some fun prizes! As a resident I want nothing more than to serve our community in any way possible. Thanks for allowing me to give back in this way!”
We hope you all had a fabulous 4th! Enjoy the pictures!

Al and Willie as Lewis and Clark were top-billed vaudevillians for over forty years. Now they aren’t even speaking. When CBS requests them for a “History of Comedy” retrospective, a grudging reunion brings the two back together, along with a flood of memories, miseries, and laughs. The story follows the attempt by a young theatrical agent to re-unite his elderly uncle, a former vaudevillian great, with his long-time stage partner for a TV reunion. Despite their celebrated reputation, the two old men have not spoken in twelve years. Besides remastering their sketch, the two men have numerous issues to work out before they are ready to return to the public eye. https://www.eagleatsugarhill.com

Friday, August 6, 2021 7:30pm to 9:30pm
Enjoy the “sweet sounds of summer” in downtown Norcross and get ready for some serious fun at the Summer Concert Series, which runs May thru September in Thrasher Park from 7:30 - 9:30 p.m. The concerts are free and local restaurants are happy to create the perfect picnic for concert goers. So grab a chair, a cooler (no glass, please) and a few friends and come enjoy downtown Norcross and the sweet sounds of summer! Since 1992, A1A have been The Official and Original Jimmy Buffett Tribute Show. They also write and record their own original Trop Rock Music. Don’t Forget! Each event in the Summer Concert Series will serve as a collection site for the CAN Do food drive, a county-wide effort to fill the shelves of local food pantries. Donations of canned food and nonperishable items can be dropped off in bins during each concert. https://www.norcrossga.net
