Please consider the following reasons why you should be nominated to serve as a Board Member:  Opportunity to make decisions on issues that have an impact on the quality of life for all residents of Hamilton Mill  Governance – policy making, oversight, and strategic planning  Opportunity to address issues and concerns of neighbors Serving on your Homeowner’s Association Board of Directors can be exciting and rewarding. You can work

with neighbors to make our community a great place to live, work, and play (A Hometown Community). If you have these qualities and would like to be considered as a candidate for the Board of Directors, please contact Maureen Murphy, Community Association Manager by email at maureen@ shabenandassociates.com or in person at the Lakeview Clubhouse. If you do not have time to serve as a Board member, please consider getting involved as a volunteer for one of the Association committees. We look forward to hearing from you. SOCIAL NEWS

Working together with the P4 Foundation to help bring Christmas joy to kids with cancer For the past several years Hamilton Mill has been generous and supportive of our Angel Tree. This year, we will partner again with the P4 Foundation and help 14 families with their holiday wish lists. We will kick off the Angel Tree season November 10 – just in time for the holiday shopping season! Come by and choose a tag off the tree... each child has multiple tags on the tree to ensure they receive all their requests. All angel items must be delivered, unwrapped, to the Clubhouse by Friday, December 3.

About P4 Foundation: The P4 Foundation was founded right here in Hamilton Mill

by Gino Vizzi. Through the P4 Foundation Gino has found a way to help others while battling cancer himself. The P4 Foundation works directly with children and their families impacted by childhood cancer to provide support, hope, and faith-filled encouragement, as well as tips for health and wellness — before, during and after treatment. Donations to the P4 Foundation go directly to the families of P4 Kids who have been diagnosed with childhood cancer. All donations make a difference and go toward extensive treatment costs, gas, groceries and utility bills, helping families afford fun activities, and funeral or memorial expenses. Learn more about the foundation at www.p4foundation.org.

Junior Spotlight Congratulations to Abigail Foretic! Hamilton Mill player of the month. Gail is a pleasure to work with. Gail always shows up.....rain or shine, injured or not.... she always makes sure she shows up to practice. She has really matured as a player lately and has shown great improvement over the last month and a half. And as hard as practice can be, Gail also finds a way to make practice fun no matter what. Her attitude and recently found focus has earned Abigail a spot in the Jr Spotlight. We thank you for your hard work and congratulate you! Keep up the good work! We look forward to continue working with Abigail. 14 | HOMETOWN HERALD | October 2021
