‘LEFT,

CENTER, RIGHT’ DRAWS A BIG CROWD AT EMPTY NESTERS!

The Empty Nesters were back at their ‘gaming’ tables, with the second month of the complex but wildly popular Left, Center, Right (“L-C-R”) game taking center stage.

Hosts Carol and Mike Brody organized a terrific dinner featuring marinated grilled chicken, kielbasa, orzo with garden vegetables and various dessert choices (thanks to Kristy the caterer!). After dinner, the Nesters got down to ‘business’ (i.e., a really competitive game called Left, Center, Right, which is too hard to explain here!).

Big winners for the night were Liz Rush, Sarah McElwee, Bill Humble, Pete Zickefoose and Maria Turk. Congrats to the winners!

We’d love to have you join us! The only ‘requirement’ is if you are a true Empty Nester (i.e., you have no dependent children at home). Single? Married? Young or ‘older’, we’d love to have you! If you’re interested, send an email to-chair Kathy Sposa at kposa@aol.com.

REUNION

COUNTRY CLUB

We hope these friendly reminders from the Covenants Committee will be helpful to residents. Thank you to all for adhering to the Covenant and recognizing that these regulations are necessary to keep our community a visually attractive and safe place to live.

Mulch:

All mulch landscape beds must be covered with natural pine straw, chopped pine bark, or wood shavings. (Rubber mulch is not allowed.) Please make sure that the mulch has been spread out and unopened bags and pallets are not in view from the road. Please make sure that all mulch is off the pallets and dispersed into the yard by the end of June. We will be sending letters out in July.

Lawn Maintenance:

Please do not blow your grass clippings in the storm drains.

Pets:

Be courteous of our fellow neighbors when walking your dog please carry a waste bag and a water bottle for urine spots.

Vehicles and Parking:

No boat, trailer, camper, recreational, or other vehicle type may be parked or stored in open view on residential property for more than twenty-four hours. No vehicle/golf cart may be parked on any yard. As a rule, parking vehicles on the streets within the community is prohibited. Temporary parking (four hours or less) is allowed if the Owner's driveway is full, not a nuisance to neighbors or an impediment to traffic flow. The vehicle must be parked with traffic. Owners are responsible for guest parking and must ensure that guests park safely and do not impede access to other driveways and traffic.

Power Washing:

This is a great time of year to make sure that your driveway an sidewalks are power washed. I believe we have some great companies within our neighborhood that do this and have receive high marks.

Mailboxes:

What a great time to repaint your mailbox. All mailboxes must be functional with no broken or removed parts and be freshly painted using the approved black color, and the red flag and gold embellishments must also be freshly painted if they show signs of fading. Remember to use the approved mailbox numbers with the correct black paint (satin).
