We hope these friendly reminders from the Covenants Committee will be helpful to residents. Thank you to all for adhering to the Covenant and recognizing that these regulations are necessary to keep our community a visually attractive and safe place to live.

Mailboxes:

What a great time to repaint your mailbox. All mailboxes must be functional with no broken or removed parts and be freshly painted using the approved mailbox colors: black satin for mailbox, emergency red color for flag, gold for approved 2” numbers and embellishments.

Vehicles and Parking:

No boat, trailer, camper, recreational, or other vehicle type may be parked or stored in open view on residential property for more than twenty-four hours. No vehicle/golf cart may be parked on any yard. As a rule, parking vehicles on the streets within the community is prohibited. Temporary parking (four hours or less) is allowed if the Owner's driveway is full, not a nuisance to neighbors or an impediment to traffic flow. The vehicle must be parked with traffic. Owners are responsible for guest parking and must ensure that guests park safely and do not impede access to other driveways and traffic.

Pets:

Be courteous of our fellow neighbors when walking your dog please carry a waste bag and a water bottle for urine spots.

Golf Carts:

Please keep in mind that Georgia law states: To drive a golf cart alone, a person must have a driver's license.

When a non-licensed driver operates a golf cart and is accompanied by a licensed driver, the licensed driver is a responsible, liable party in the event of an accident.

‘GAMES, LOTS OF LAUGHS AND GREAT FOOD

The June Meeting of the Reunion Empty Nesters put many of our attendees to the test. Who would be the “Weakest Link”? Although Jane Lynch was not present to spark sharp comments to those who played the game, it was fun with Joanne Giel in Jane’s role. Mike Giel kept score of who were the weakest (and strongest) links

Although Peg and Kirk Baldwin were unable to attend as co-hosts, they did a lot in preparing for this great event It was Peg’s idea to do the “Weakest Link” and she provided all of the questions for the event. Also a shout out to Susan Eyring and Lorraine Horner who stepped in to help out as the “Vannas” To add to the fun, there were 2 games of “Wheel of Fortune”. John Marshall won the first round and Rosemarie Wood won the second

The prizes were unique for tonight. How about getting a huge watermelon with one of the new gadgets to cut up your watermelon or ears of corn with corn shuckers? There were loads of laughs. Our caterer provided one of the best meals you could have for a game night. The choices were Meatball subs, Chicken bacon ranch sandwiches or Philly Cheesesteaks along with orzo salad, green salad and the best potato wedges!

Dessert never fails with a decadent chocolate flourless cake and blackberry cobbler.

It is easy to provide seniors with their basic needs, but we’re going above and beyond to make seniors feel valued, happy, and loved. The difference this makes in lives is immeasurable.
