Kathy and Jack succeed co-chairs Joanne and Mike Giel for the seventy plus members of Reunion’s longest standing organization. Jack noted that the first meeting of 2024 represented the 20th anniversary of the Empty Nesters, and that one of the goals of the New Year would be to recruit new members.

Kathy also introduced a new theme focusing on “Less Formal/More Casual/More Fun” in front of a crowd of 43 Empty Nesters. Kathy also indicated that two new committees will be forming, a Welcoming/Membership Committee and another committee focusing on Activities.
A special Empty Nester “thank you” goes out to Jim Braden, who donated one of his beautiful, hand-made cigar boxes (with a special candy surprise inside) as a party favor to each Nester family.
