DID You KNOW?
Monthly friendly advice for our Reunion neighbors about covenants issues & guidelines The holidays have moved passed us, yet again, and now it is time to look forward to the new year and, before you know it, spring! In the meantime, please consider the following suggestions as they help to keep our community beautiful and your investment solid. • Sometimes mailboxes have to be completely replaced, particularly if you were one of the original homeowners in or community or if you purchased a resale that was in the first few phases. All information pertaining to mailboxes are found in the Declaration of Protective Covenants for Reunion under Section 22 on page 16. Mailboxes must be painted regularly to keep the solid black and gold color and the numbers must be those that have been approved. In addition all numbers should be clearly visible from the road. • Trashcan enclosures are required if you prefer to keep garbage containers outside. They must follow size and material codes. No trashcan can be viewed by neighbors, the road, and/or the golf course. This requirement has a no
exception policy. In addition, trashcans cannot be placed out before 5:00 PM on Sunday and must be taken in as close to pick up time as possible, and by evening on Monday. Thank you for all the beautiful decorations, the joyful community celebrations, and the expressions of gratitude felt throughout our miraculous holiday season. There is no better place to live and raise a family than Reunion. Working together to keep it that way is the primary goal of Covenants. If you would like to know more about serving on this committee, please contact the Activities Director, Angela Pavlichek, at angelapavlichek@fieldstonerp.com. The Covenants Committee is comprised of dedicated volunteers who do not make HOA rules, but simply monitor the community to make certain that all who live here follow the regulations that you were made aware of at the time of your purchase. We aim to keep Reunion the pristine neighborhood it is just as other committees strive to oversee the pool, social life, safety, and the Meeting House agendas.

Empty Nesters
PAJAMAS AND BREAKFAST “We have never been so comfortable!” was the comment as Empty Nesters showed up cozy in their flannels and sweatshirts to celebrate breakfast for dinner. The evening started with Bloody Mary’s concocted by Irene and Dick Speakman. There was French Toast, cheesy grits, casseroles, sausage, fruit, quiche, croissants, cinnamon buns and so much more. Waffles were served up “hot off the grill” by Sue Dennis, assisted by Annmarie Torres. After settling down to a cup of coffee or tea with donuts and desserts the group had a review of budgets along with a discussion of the many enjoyable events planned for the coming year. This will include the “new” edition of an “All Men’s Social” with a forming committee of Tom Dibble, Ted Sawyer and Jon Summerville. Prizes are always part of a party and best couples awards were given to Nancy and Ron Scoggins who were matching twins in flannels and Wendel and Cookie Peterson. Wendel was channeling “Rocky” in his black robe and Cookie looked like a princess in her handsmocked wedding peignoir and nightgown-worn over 53 years ago. We went onto a word puzzle that certainly got the old cranium going. Our winning Brainiac’s were John Marshall and Carol Brody. Who knows what the Empty Nesters will cook up when their monthly meetings return in 2019! The Empty Nesters warmly welcomes all Reunion residents who don’t have children living at home.
