The Right Seating Can Alleviate Back Pain
Small- and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) commonly offer an array of perks to promote healthy living, like ergonomic seating, yet back pain is still pervasive among many of their employees, according to a recent Office Depot survey. Eighty-seven percent of SMB employees surveyed sit in a chair on a daily basis, and more than half of them report suffering from back pain. Using a chair with the proper seat height, seat pan depth and lumbar support can alleviate pain, promote circulation and provide spine support. Lewisburg Stroll through the Arts Both the visual and the performing arts take center stage in historic downtown Lewisburg the first full weekend in November as the Lewisburg Arts Council sponsors the Seventeenth Annual Stroll Through the Arts weekend. Friday, November 6, from 6:00 to 10:00 pm is the Stroll through the Arts, with over 40 artists displaying their works in 30 shops, studios, and galleries all along five blocks of downtown Market Street. The artists range from painters to potters to jewelers to photographers, and are all from the central Susquehanna Valley region. A Silent Art Auction will be held that evening from 6:00 to 9:00 pm at the Lewisburg Club, 131 Market Street, in conjunction with the Stroll through the Arts. This year will be the 23rd annual auction, and features work donated by the juried artists who participated in last April’s Arts Festival. This year’s Stroll Through the Arts will again feature our passport program. Anyone who visits and has checked off the required number of businesses in certain blocks of downtown is
