A portion of Water Street from St John St to St Anthony St and the stretch of River Road from the north end of Water Street to Winter Farm Lane (by the main entrance to RiverWoods) will be temporarily closed to vehicular traffic, allowing individuals, families, and groups to enjoy this scenic stretch of the Susquehanna River on foot or on (non-motorized) wheels. This location affords easy connections to additional walking and biking opportunities at Wolfe Field and the AYSO Soccer Complex for a total loop option of almost 2 miles. It also reaches the street grid of downtown Lewisburg where walking another block brings you to Market Street. On this special occasion, it will be easy to walk back and forth safely between downtown Lewisburg and RiverWoods. Parking will be available for those approaching from the north in the grass lot off Winter Farm Lane opposite the RiverWoods main entrance. For those arriving from the south, there is on street parking in the Borough as well as space at Wolfe Field. Plus of course people can walk and bike there too.
