Katelyn, the daughter of Bradley and Vera Brouse received the award for excellence in academics, leadership, and agricultural work experience. Katelyn’s significant experiences and accomplishments have included a supervised agricultural experience program consisting of Poultry and Trout. Katelyn has served various leadership positions on the chapter and SUN Area level including SUN Area secretary, and chapter secretary and chapter president. This year the Dekalb Agricultural accomplishment award celebrates its 69th anniversary. Over these 69 years more than 168,000 high school seniors from across the country have received the award, which has become a symbol for
