ested individuals with extensive training in many phases of gardening. In return, participants volunteer to teach horticultural infor-mation to the public based on university research and recommendations. Participants meet weekly on Thurs-day evenings in Mifflinburg from 6-9pm, from October 3rd to March 3rd (with breaks for academic and religious holidays). Penn State Professors, Extension Educators, and Master Gardeners present on specific topics, in-cluding vegetable gardening, native plants, grass and lawn care, fruit trees and much more. The fee for the Penn State Extension Master Gardener Basic Training is $200, and includes a copy of the awardwinning Penn State Master Gardener Manual. “I came into this class knowing a fair amount about gardening, especially native

plants and organic vegetable gardening, so I thought this would be a refresher course for me. Not only did I learn new things about topics I thought I knew well, but I also learned about horticultural areas of interest I had yet to explore. We began the course with a solid plant biology lesson, which was the framework for the remainder of our studies. I especially enjoyed the classes on fruit trees, ornamental plants/ landscaping, and indoor plants. Besides the classroom knowledge, I encountered a wide network of professional educators and learned of many online and print resources.” says Jen Schneidman Partica, Master Gardener Apprentice from the 2018-19 Penn State Extension Master Gardener Basic Training Course. Application form and payment are due by September 21st. Applications are available at: Penn State Extension, 343 Chestnut Street, 2nd Fl., Mif-flinburg, PA17844, 570-556-4757. I have been to other places and the evaluation I received from Artisan Hearing Technologies was the best evaluation I ever had. I came here for a second opinion, and I am so glad I did. I was told by a friend that was very happy with his hearing aids and the service to come here. I could not agree more! The entire staff makes you feel welcomed like family. They are more than willing to work with any situation you have. Thank you Artisan Hearing for helping me with my hearing. - Arlene Benor

After watching my wife go through the process of getting her hearing aids, when it came time for me to get them... no other option seemed feasible. The warmth and good natured feeling along with professionalism of the staff and Jennifer are second to none. Everybody was concerned about nothing else but the best for me. My issues were addressed immediately. I am so happy we round this new extension of family. - Paul Benor

I want to tell the world how great it is to hear again. I can’t believe I have waited so long. Its just WOW! The most unbelievable thing is my noise protection program. I can hear at work without damaging my hearing. I love the cell phone connectivity. I can listen to music and talk on my iPhone with my hearing aids. It just makes my life more convenient, I have so much clarity. If you have trouble hearing .... Don’t Wait. - Thomas Lehman
