fair amount about gardening, especially native plants and organic vegetable gardening, so I thought this would be a refresher course for me. Not only did I learn new things about topics I thought I knew well, but I also learned about horticultural areas of interest I had yet to explore. We began the course with a solid plant biology lesson, which was the framework for the remainder of our studies. I especially enjoyed the classes on fruit trees, ornamental plants/ landscaping, and indoor plants. Besides the classroom knowledge, I encountered a wide network of professional educators and learned of many online and print resources.”

The winter tours last year were quite chilly, so please dress appropriately! We will both start and end indoors in an effort to combat the cold. The focus will be on the North Ward Neighborhood in the northeast quadrant of downtown, including both Market St and riverfront areas. We are very very happy with our new hearing aids. We are Both hearing things we haven’t heard in a long time. Even simple things you don’t realize you’re missing. We love our remote controls, that helps us with the television volume. Everybody at Artisan is great. it’s like going to a friends house. They are all professional and we love Lola the dog. I would recommend anyone who has trouble with their hearing to go to Artisan. That’s how we got here and we are very pleased. - Carolyn Krammes, Kenneth Krammes

- William Merkel

I am really happy with my new hearing aids. I play and sing in a band. They have been helping me with my harmony singing. The testing for me was smooth. My service and adjustments , when I need them is wonderful. - Carson Keiser

With my new hearings aids, I really didn’t realize how much I was missing. It’s funny, we have some bushes in front of our house and my wife would say the birds are driving me crazy. I had no idea what she was talking about. Now I do. The hearing aids really help tinnitus. It’s still there, but not nearly as bad as it was before I had hearing aids. I would highly recommend Jennifer at Artisan Hearing Technologies, if you have any trouble with your hearing.

guest speaker at two events on Thursday, March 19, in Central PA. Austin received his PhD in Geology at Penn State University in 1979. He has done extensive research at the Mt. St. Helens volcano and at the Grand Canyon. His talks will demonstrate how geological features can form rapidly and provide evidence for the Global Flood in the book of Genesis. The

A canyon system 1/40 the size of the Grand Canyon was formed in a matter of days as did more than 100 feet of finely layered rock. Fall 1991 and January 1992 Testimonials: My cousin and his new wife (both in their early 40’s) were visiting my mom, my sister, and I. My sister asks, “So, how did you meet?” They kind of giggled and asked each other, “Should we tell them?” They said they met through the LYBL column. My sister and I decided we would try our fare at meeting “Mr. Right”. (BTW, my cousin and his wife are still married and hopelessly in love.) My sister didn’t have much luck, but in January 1992, I saw this ad that kept drawing my attention. As described, he really wasn’t what I was looking for, but... We met later that month for the first time; got engaged in 1993 and married in 1994. We will celebrate our 25th anniversary this October and we have a 23-yearold daughter who lives out of state. Thank you, LYBL! Mr. & Mrs. J.N. 4/4/17 Testimonial: I placed an ad 1/2/94 and met the love of my life. He has 3 boys and I have 3 girls. We were married 8/26/95 and now we’re the Brady Bunch. Thanks for helping us find each other. KP/DP

I will always be grateful to your paper Valley Trader. My husband DH wrote to me and we have been happily married almost 12 wonderful years. We’ve been through many trials and joys and so glad we found each other. K.W/ K.H. “Thanks Again Valley Trader, Friends! Years ago I put an ad in your paper and we were married almost 20 years & then our lord called him home.” -HR “My brother met his wife Bonnie through your column. They have a son named Jake! He’s our pride and joy!” –CW
