My hearing aids are great. I am so glad I got them when I did. It’s allowed me to hear things that I haven’t heard in a long time. The people here are very courteous knowledgeable, and friendly. The customer service is outstanding, I would highly recommend Artisan Hearing Technologies to anyone who lacks good hearing.

I had a hearing problem, but I would not admit it. The family was always after me to get a hearing test. I heard about Artisan Hearing Technologies and I thought I would try it. I drove past the office a few times before I finally stopped in and had a hearing test. I had hearing loss. No pressure from Jennifer Burget, but I decided to take a hearing aid out on a 2 week trial. I was very surprised at what I was hearing, no more repeating myself, no more huh. The TV volume went down. I love the app for my smart phone, it’s great! If you want the best hearing aids and service I recommend Jennifer at Artisan Hearing Technologies.

- Barry Rake

- John McDermott

I thought hearing aids were much more expensive than what they were. Jennifer took the time with me to make sure I got what I needed and that I understood what I got. I wish I had done this sooner, or at least checked into it. My hearing aids sound amazing. I like to listen to music again and I can hear at work. Artisan has the most up to date equipment, I have been to other places and I know what they do, and their is a difference with the use of the equipment and I know. Jennifer’s level of professionalism is like no other. - Karl Seyler

Lewisburg River Town Team spring volunteer opportunities in March and April The Lewisburg River Town Team offers many opportunities to volunteer and improve the community in the spring. Beat that cabin fever by getting outside. Even if it’s cold! Just bundle up. Live Stake Planting will take place on Saturday, March 23, at 2pm, at the Towne Green by the covered bridge off N 6th Street. Come take part in a different kind of planting -- rather than planting seeds, seedlings or entire plants, we will be planting cuttings from certain water-friendly native species. If you take appropriate pieces of these plants, prep them correctly, and plant them in a water-rich environment, they will

Include plantings and cleanups

sprout roots and eventually leaves and start an entire new plant. We will focus on Black Willow, Silky Dogwood, and Red Ossier Dogwood. This can be done effectively to increase the plant cover along streams. Our efforts have a further twist of focusing on an area along Bull Run/Limestone Run where there are large rocks known as riprap covering the banks. Cuttings are being obtained this year as part of a program of the Chesapeake Conservancy office at Susquehanna University. Community Cleanups are planned for Saturday, April 6, at 10am and Saturday April 13, at 2pm, in Hufnagle Park. Meet

in Kidsburg along St Louis St by the RR tracks. Come out and help keep our community clean. We will take advantage of the early spring date before plants have leafed out to be able to pull litter out of the underbrush. These events are part of the Keep PA Beautiful initiative. It is suitable for all ages. Children under 14 should be accompanied by an adult. Everyone should dress for the weather and the possibility of mess. We provide snacks, gear, and instructions. You bring back the trash. This activity is suitable for both individuals and large groups to participate. Spring Tree Planting will take place on Thursdau, April 18, at 5pm, at two sites in town simultaneously, Lewisburg Landing (at St George St and S Water St) + Wolfe Field (off St Anthony St near N Water St).

The River Town Team has been planting seedlings at Wolfe Field and Lewisburg Landing for the past three years. This year, thanks to a grant from the Bucknell Community Engagement Fund, we will be planting well-established saplings in addition to small bare root seedlings. This effort is part of a general initiative of increasing tree cover especially along waterways, but is also particularly critical in light of the many losses caused by Emerald Ash Borer and the suppression of new growth due to rampant Japanese Knotweed. RSVP is required for this event so you can be assigned to one of the two sites. See below for contact information.
