FREE HOUSE---Victorian Lady/Vic’s Pub—Lewisburg, PA The Victorian Lady, also known as Vic’s Pub, located at 2167 Old Turnpike Rd in Lewisburg, PA is going to be given away later this year to anyone who would like to relocate the structure. Due to brand mandated updates, Blaise Alexander Ford is beginning additions and alterations to the current dealership facility. The Alexander family regrets that they are unable to repurpose the old landmark as part of the mandated improvements. Due to public sentiment and community spirit, the Alexander family has decided to offer the existing Victorian Lady/Vic’s Pub to anyone or organization at NO COST. The house must be completely

removed along with all foundations, underground utilities, and sidewalks. The buyer is completely responsible for all associated costs. The buyer’s contractor must be fully insured, and be licensed in PA. Timeframe on this removal is subject to change and cannot be finalized until later this Fall 2018. If anyone is interested in removing and relocating the house, please contact Aubrey Alexander at 570-368-8677 ext 11111 for more details. You can also send a letter request to Aubrey Alexander at 10 Alexander Dr. Muncy PA 17756. ufn This workshop is specifically designed to assist people who will be enrolling in Medicare, either because they will turn 65 years old or because they receive Social Security disability benefits. The workshop is also appropriate for spouses

and caregivers. Roughly 100,000 Pennsylvanians enroll in Medicare each year. Many struggle to make the right decisions about their coverage because they do not have clear information. The Medicare enrollment process is complex and there are key decisions that must be made according to strict deadlines. There are also programs available that can help Medicare enrollees save money. Beneficiaries are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity to get information from highly trained people who will offer unbiased advice. To register, please call 570-495-2384. With my new hearing aids I’m hearing much better in conversation, meeting, and in background noise. They changed my life I can join in the conversation again. If I forget my hearing aids I have to go back home to put them in. I fought getting hearing aids for years, I am so glad I got them. - Ken George

I’ve know for a while now that I needed hearing aids, but I did not know who to go to. Then I went to Artisan Hearing and saw Jennifer. She explained everything to me and all my questions were answered. Since getting my new hearing aids I am enjoying what I have been missing. - Jo Ann Cleary

My coworkers, my boss, my friends, and most importantly my husband are all so happy that I got my hearing aids because I can hear them now. When I couldn’t hear, I was withdrawing myself from social events and even going out to eat at restaurants. Even the television was getting difficult for me to follow. Now I can hear all of my friends, even in the restaurant. And I can hear on the phone at work; the hearing aid app is wonderful. I love it. - Darlene Hepler

School is out, summer is here, and leagues are wrapping-up what was hopefully a fun, successful season. While your Little Leaguer® may have handed in his or her jersey, there’s still plenty of baseball and softball activities left. As you put together your summer to-do list, consider some of these off-season ideas that are sure to provide some extra fun. Get Outside. Head to the backyard or park, and do some creative baseball and softball drills. Take a racquet and tennis balls and hit sky-high pop-ups to your Little Leaguer and his or her friends. Have batting practice with water balloons. Wet down some plastic sheeting, and practice sliding. Take a large empty water container, place it on a table, and pick spots in the yard to throw

Try Something New Little League believes in developing well-rounded children, and that means incorporating activities and hobbies that extend far beyond baseball and softball. Summer is a great time for Little Leaguers to try a different sport and develop other interests. Perhaps this summer is the season for your child to try basketball, tennis, golf, or swimming. Want to give your Little Leaguer a break from sports? Then, maybe it’s time for them to learn some chords on the guitar or tickle the ivories. Watch the Little League World Series Tournaments Little League has nine World Series Tournaments, starting with the Big League Baseball Tournament in late July, and culminating with the Little League BaseballŽ World Series in late August in Williamsport. In between are softball and baseball tournaments played from teams from all corners of the globe. Many of these games will be televised by ESPN and its family of networks. Kick back, grab some popcorn, and watch these exciting contests with your Little Leaguer. Check out LLBWS.org for the complete schedule, results, and more. Get Your Hands Dirty It’s never too early to begin preparing for the next season. As most Little League parents know, operating a local league takes a strong effort from a community of volunteers. While most of the heavy lift is often done by adult volunteers, Little Leaguers themselves should chip in. Support your league by taking the family to the field to do some post-season clean-up. It offers the chance for some solid parent/child interaction while at the same time it teaches kids the importance of working hard and volunteering. After the clean-up is done, be sure to reward the work with a cool treat. Have a fun, and safe summer!

Come to our FREE Class Wednesday, July 11, 2018. Usually first Wednesday of the month, but due to July 4th being a holiday. Learn how to do more exciting things on your cell phone at Artisan Hearing Shop at 508B West Southern Ave by the CVS.
