The PPGH has completed two action packed months! Now we're counting down to the first PPGH FotoFest exhibit. This month is our member appreciation meeting on March 15, when we will have an opening party for our first bi‐ annual FotoFest exhibit located at 1600 Smith in downtown Houston. We will hang the show Friday the 14. Everyone come out and have a fun party while hanging our images! On the 15th, we will start the evening with image competition then the music will chime up and our show will officially kick off! For the next six weeks, the exhibit will be open to the public as a part of FotoFest. Do stop by. We would love to see everyone; it should be a fun evening! Also in March, don’t miss our own Kevin Falcon with his “Three Amigos: Facebook, Twitter & Instagram” workshop. It should be entertaining and fun with lots of tips and tricks for handling the “three amigos.” This is a don’t‐miss mini workshop. We had a great speaker in February. Evans Caglage, from the Dallas Morning News, showed his spectacular work and the room was packed. All enjoyed the knowledge Evans shared. If you haven’t noticed, the PPGH is posting short videos on our Facebook page of things that have happened or are getting ready to happen with the guild. Don’t miss these. They are fun and quite entertaining! Our “action teams” are off and running. Make sure you join one and make a difference in PPGH! Check out our website where we have a new tab called “Find an Assistant.” Make sure you

fill out the form to be listed on the site and to be called to assist another photographer. It is a public tab and anyone looking for an assistant can look here, so sign up. April is our business program with the world‐renowned Ann Monteith. PPGH members are getting the program at a huge discount ‐ almost $100 off the original price. The program is a don’t‐miss. She will change how you handle the business side of your photography. As photographers, we like the photography part but are not really sure about the business side. Well, she will certainly change that! You will leave knowing how to run, price and organize your photography business and get back to the fun of photography. So have a great March and see lots of green. Looking forward to seeing everyone at our first FOTOFEST, with many more to follow!
