Pro Tip: Flop Shot- Have you ever wanted to hit a flop shot like Phil Mickelson? Here are a few tips on how you can: Open the club face and relax your grip. Angle your upper body so your right shoulder is lower than your left. Swing back, set your hands, and swing through without letting your right hand roll over. Pretend that you’re throwing a ball underhand with your right hand through the shot From The Assistant Rick Sample PGA First off let me take this opportunity to thank all of you for a great season. For those of you leaving for the summer, may you have a great summer and we look forward to seeing you in the fall. For those of you staying through the summer I look forward to a great summer with you. If you leave for the summer and will be playing at another club you will want to make sure your recent scores are in the handicap system where you will be playing for the summer. Some of your clubs may also be on the GHIN system in which case your handicap will already be up to date. If your other club is not on GHIN, you can get your scores from The Views to enter in the handicap system of your club for the summer by
going to the web site www.azgolf.org . There you can print a copy of your last 20 scores and get them entered into you summer club’s handicap account. If your other club is not on GHIN, you can go to azgolf.org and post your scores online through the summer. That way your scores will already be in the system when you get back to The Views and you will be ready for next season.
