LAF Artists / Denise Ruggiero
Booth # 11
Denise Ruggiero Painting
Brookfield CT Contemporary Acrylic and Watercolor paintings inspired by the places she calls home (Louisiana and Connecticut) and the things she loves (flowers, coastal waters and all things fun). A touch of whimsy and expressive color, brings her work to life by creating a sense of fun and movement with her brush strokes. Her work pays homage to both her childhood home of south Louisiana, as well as her home now in CT. Denise has a Bachelor of Science in Culinary Arts and worked for years as a cake artist/chef, but she is a self-taught painter. As a cake artist she took her love of food and art and married the two together to create beautiful and delicious works of art using cake as her canvas. She has now taken her artistic creativity from cakes onto paper and stretched canvas to create beautiful works of art with a brush and paint. Growing up surrounded by the rich culture of the bayou and vibrant spirit of New Orleans, Denise brings her love for all life into her work. www.DeniseRuggieroArt.com denisecruggiero@gmail.com FB: DeniseRuggieroArt IG: DeniseRuggieroArt

Hannah Jung Art Painting
Warren CT My artwork visualizes a ‘beacon of hope’ through my own journey of life by portraying symbolic imageries from nature such as sky, water, light and dark. As humans, we strive to find who we are and where we belong on earth. These integral questions in our minds through this journey allow us to utilize the natural world to touch the depths of our hearts that desire to seek the answers and understand our true identities. Hannah Jung has exhibited nationwide including The White Gallery (Lakeville), Lyman Allyn Art Museum, Salmagundi Club (New York), Pelham Curtis Gallery (New Canaan), Horton Gallery (Stockton CA), Baker Arts Center (Liberal KS), The Gallery of the Contemporary Art (Fairfield CT), Mercy Gallery (Windsor), Gallery Korea, Korean Embassy (Washington D.C.), Vision Gallery (New York NY), and Promenade Gallery @ the Bushnell (Hartford), to name a few. She was a recipient of Art of the Northeast at Silvermine Guild Arts Center and was invited to Artists Residency Program at I-Park. www.HannahJungArt.com HjjHannah@gmail.com IG @ hjjhannah FB @ hannah.jung.948

Designs by Donnalee by Donnalee Robinson Jewelry
Sandy Hook CT My pieces have a spiritual/bohemian feel that is all original and hand crafted, using sterling silver, 14 KT gold filled, copper, gemstones, and crystals. Everything I create is made with love, gratitude, uniqueness and good vibes. Inspiration comes from everywhere travels, nature, the magic you find in everyday life, but mostly I just let the metal and gemstones speak to me. After spending most of my life working in corporate America and feeling like I just didn't fit the mold, I finally found something that made my heart sing. Right after my first Silversmithing class I was hooked! It was literally life changing for me. I took another class then started buying every tool I could get my hands on and started hammering away. Thank heavens for a supportive, and patient, husband! It's my job now. But I love it. I dream about jewelry when I'm not making it. I look at something and see it in a pendant or a ring or a bracelet. I'm still learning, but I love the journey. www.designsbydonnalee.com Donnalee.robinson@hotmail.com FB: designsbydonnalee IG: designsbydonnalee

Alexandra Jedrey Painting
North Kingstown, RI I am an oil painter who focuses on the native shells of New England. With an exploration of color and range of texture, each shell painting is unique. I first paint the canvas a vibrant base color, then add the shell and tonal background on top. Leaving spaces of the original background coming through, there is a range of depth in each painting. The sides of the gallery wrapped canvases are left open with the base color visible. I am a Rhode Island native who has always loved the sea and all the mysteries within. I love pushing color to the extremes. I paint with a palette knife, rather than a traditional paintbrush. I create interesting yet soothing art to bring the ocean into your home. www.alexandrajedreyart.com alexandrajedreyart@gmail.com FB: Alexandra Jedrey Art IG: alexandra.jedrey.art

The characters’ apathetic expressions simply that these circumstances are quite normal for them, while the viewer stares on, questioning at the absurdity of the art. Since then, I've launched my own fashion brand, Peachbrain, reigniting my passion for art by incorporating many of my latest prints into the clothing. victoriahwapark@gmail.com
