The goal of the Town Hall is to answer questions from veterans and family members regarding VA benefits and to ensure that eligible veterans make an informed decision regarding the care and services available to them. VA Central We s t e r n Massachusetts, based in Northampton, oversees the VA Medical Center in Leeds and seven outpatient clinics including the Springfield VA clinic at 25 Bond Street. During the Town Hall, veterans will also have an opportunity to enroll in VA health care and to inquire about financial and other forms of assistance to veterans, including compensation and pension benefits. A copy of a

Veteran’s discharge document, DD214, is helpful for on-site enrollment. This is an ideal opportunity to obtain valuable information in one place at one time. No advance registration is necessary. For additional information, call the Senior Center at 562-6435.
