Normally a theme is set for the concert, be it ” Broadway Bound” or “On The High Seas” to name some of the past themes, but this time around nothing came to mind and kidding around it was stated that it was just a mishmash of music — and that’s what has stuck. A great compilation of music from Disney to a Copland Tribute will be included. Then add Concertante for Winds, Empire Overture and American Originals, which features such great numbers as Alexander’s Ragtime Band, Yankee Doodle Dandy and You’re a Grand Old Flag, and you’ve found that mishmash to enjoy.
