6699 is the typographical shape of quotation marks: “ and ”. This hand-made zine is a collection of quotes gathered by students in the Kotoba and Communication (O) class at Kyoto University of Art and Design. The theme “Kyoto Sweets” was chosen by popular vote in class on Tuesday the 9th of May, 2017. It was suggested by Rina Kimura and received a total of 10 votes. Each page in this magazine contains a quote surrounding the theme which was chosen by the student introduced at the bottom.
