My Ambition 己の野望
I pulled this card from the jar when I was explaining to students how this magazine. I was planning to return the card to the jar, but something stopped me. I couldn’t read what it said at first (my reading of Japanese Kanji is not that great). When the students explained it to me, I decided not to put it back. I have an ambition. There is a shrine near my house which is a little special. If you have an ambition, you can take a rock from the shrine for good luck, and then return it to the shrine when your ambition is fulfilled. I want to have my work featured in the Japan Typography Association’s yearbook, Applied Typography. I hope this year my ambitions will be fulfilled.
