6699 is the typographical shape of quotation marks: “ and ”. This hand-made zine is a collection gathered by students in the English Speaking class at Osaka Medical and Pharmaceutical University.

The following three themes were chosen by popular vote in October, 2022.

Hamada, Hiyori

My Favorite Line Stamp: The first stamp is “Not too cute for adults” and it’s a stamp that can be used for anyone. I use it when I want to express my gratitude. The second stamp is “Cat stamp” and I use it for close school friends, when I want to express sadness. The third stamp is “Tokyo ghoul” and I use it with family, when I want to convey I get it, briefly.

Uike, Emika

Fav. Cheap Sweets: This is a Young Doughnut. These doughnuts are small and easy to eat. I like them because they’re sweet and delicious and perfect for eating while studying.

Okumura, Kanami

Truthbeaker: This is the truthbeaker. It’s a bird’s beak-shaped secret gadget used by attaching to the mouth. It is a tool that if you tell a lie while wearing it, the lie becomes true. Wishes that are hard to come true will come true.

Oura, Kaho

Fav. Cheap Sweets: This is Potetofrai in Japanese. It’s very delicious, and also very cheap. I like it!

Ebata, Saki

My favorite LINE Stamp: My favorite LINE Stamp is Mofupiyo. It’s a chick stamp. I always use it when I ask a favor and I thank someone. Also, I send it when someone is tired. I like it because it is very cute. There are many stamps in the collection, so it is useful.

Funai, Yoko

Favorite cheep sweets: The reason I chose this theme is because I used to eat candy when I was little. Umaibo and Kabayaki have a strong flavor that makes you want to eat them again and again. That’s why I still love them.

Otani, Takeshi

LINE Stamps: I think we can use these stamps everytime when we have trouble replying.

Okamoto, Ryoma

My favourite LINE Stamp is Amenbopurasu. I use it to end a conversation properly, because the picture on the stamp is interesting.

Kido, Naho

Favorite LINE stamps: I have a favorite LINE stamp. There are two reasons to choose it as a favorite. The first is the stamp design. This stamp has my name on it and it feels special. I also like the unique hairstyles and clothes of the characters. The second is high versatility. There are various types, such as those that can be used by superiors, and those that use the Kansai dialect, as shown in the photo. These are the reasons why I love this stamp.

My Favorite LINE Stamps: The top one and second ones are Snoopy motif stamp. The third one is suave woman’s stamp. I often send the top one to my family because even without sending a message, I can easily tell them “I’m going home now”. The second and third ones are easy to use, so I often use them for my friends and family.

Matsuura, Soma

Cheap and delicious sweets: I often eat dagashi. My favorite sweets is Kabayakisanntarou because its sauce is delicious. There is a similar dagashi to Kabayakisanntarou; it is Wasabinoritarou. It’s so delicious: I recommend you try it.

Dagashi zine: This is Otokoume candy. I have eaten this candy since I was ten years old. I like this candy.

Mita, Haruka

My favorite Dagashi: My topic is my favorite cheap sweets. The ones in the picture above are my favorite cheap sweets. From the top: Snack Calpas, Marble Gum, and Sour Cigarettes. I chose this topic because I like sweets, and I often ate them when I was little.

Tsuboi, Hiroaki

Favorite Cheap Sweets: This is a picture of a candy called Apollo. The reason why I choose it is because among the cheap sweets I always eat every day, I like it the best. When I eat Apollo, I can taste strawberry and chocolate at the same time, so I love Apollo.

My favorite Umaibo: I used to eat Umaibo a lot when I was a kid. Also, because I like these three flavors the best out of all the others. When I was in elementary school, I often took Umaibo with me on excursions because they were light.

Nakagaki, Honoka

My favorite best 3 dagashi: My topic is favorite cheap sweets. This picture is of the three candy I used to eat when I was little. There are more, but I chose three of my favorites. I chose this topic because it reminds me of my childhood and makes me feel nostalgic.

Fav. LINE Stamps: My favorite LINE Stamps is Nakayamakinnikun Power!! People can always use them anytime. The reason is that I like this guy.

Kawaguchi, Yukino

Doraemon Item I Want: What I want from Doraemon’s tools is “Okashi Bokusou”. It is a can with grass in it. Any food you put near it becomes like an animal and eats this grass. After a while, the food increases in number. I like sweets, so I often go to buy them. If I could get Bokusou, I would increase the number of my favorite macaroons first.

Doraemon item I want: I want the Dokodemo door from Doraemon’s Item. If I use the Dokodemo door, I can go anywhere I want. I want Dokodemo door because it takes a lot of time for me to go to University.

Fav. Cheap Sweets: This is my favorite cheep sweets “putty”. I eat this once a week.

Sunglasses Baby: My favorite stamp is sunglasses baby. I usually use these stamps, because they’re easy to use and cute.

My favorite Doraemon item: My favorite Doraemon Item is Honnyakukonnnyaku. How does it work? After eating it, you will be able to understand all languages. I can enjoy movies and novels regardless of language. Also I don’t have trouble when traveling abroad.

LINE Stamps: My favorite stamp is Usamaru 7. I can use it when I want to apologize. I like these because they look so cute.

Favorite LINE Stamps: Typing is troublesome. I can use my favorite character.

My favorite LINE Stamps: This is a stamp on the clever face of a noisy bird. I like its vicious grinning face. I use this stamp whenever I am joking and thinking about tricks.

Sweets I ate as a child: My topic is “Favorite cheap sweets”. This picture is of my favorite sweets that I often ate when I was a child. The top is Umaibo and the bottom is Anpanman chocolate. I chose this topic because I want everyone to feel nostalgic. I think everyone has eaten these sweets at least once when they were children.

Favorite LINE Stamps: My favorite LINE Stamp is the eggplant stamp. I use this stamp when I’m surprised. The shape and color of the eggplant are cute, and it’s interesting that I don’t know when the stamp should actually be used. Therefore I like the stamp.

Nakagawa, Nanako

Cheep sweets that I often took with me on field trips when I was in elementary school: l don’t have many opportunities to eat candy these days, but I used to eat them when l was in elementary school. My favorite cheap sweets is “Yangu Donut”, because it is small and easy to eat. Also it’s sweet and tasty with a crispy texture. I like “potato fries” too.

Fav. LINE Stamps: I like the rabbit’s “OK” stamp. I use it when meeting up with friends. I like it because it’s easy to use and cute.

Fav. LINE Stamps: I like rabbits and wanted a rabbit stamp. While I was investigating various things, there were many interesting stamps of this rabbit. I bought several kinds of them, but there are still many more, so I would like to collect them from now on.

Fav. LINE Stamps: There are many cute and easy-to-use stamps, so I use them.

Fav. Cheap Sweets: My topic is Fav. Cheap Sweets. This photo is of my favorite cheap sweets, Young Donuts and Umaibos. I choose this topic because when I was a child, I really liked sweets.

Ushioda, Nana

Nyanko emperor: These stamps are named Nanko Emperor. They were made by the actor, Kanata Hongo. I chose them because I wanted to recommend Hongo’s stamps. I think that these stamps are easy for you to use on a daily basis and very cute. I use “Nigeru ga kachi stamp” when I want to escape from problems.

My Favorite LINE Stamps: This stamp is made by “U”, and the character “Agousagi” has funny and cute words and actions. The reason why I like this LINE stamp is first of all, the illustrations are surreal but also cute. The motif of this stamp is a rabbit, but I think it’s good that it doesn’t look like a rabbit. Also, there are many types, and I love this stamp so much that I have 6 stamps from this series. In addition, the characters are not only rabbits, but there are many other characters such as hearts with meaningless images, rabbits with bread on their heads, foxes, and vegetables. There are many types of stamps and characters, so I can use them in various situations; that’s why I like it and use it.

This set of Line stamps was made by my student from Nara College of Arts. She helped me by making them for a craft beer event called Craft Beer Picnic I was designing for. It’s cool to have original stickers made by one of my own students. Her LINE stamp name is Taatan, and the collection is called “Enjoy Beer Life Vol.1”.
