Trolley Tour Sunday, Aug. 3: 6:45pm HHHHHHH

Limited Event! Take a narrated tour of Cape May’s Eastern beachfront, seeing some of the most magnificent structures ever put up in Cape May, and hearing about beach erosion, life saving and the area’s military history. Then, enjoy a unique experience at Coast Guard Training Center Cape May, learning about its crucial mission as the Coast Guard’s only recruit training facility, the homeport for five Coast Guard cutters, and a search and rescue station. Events will culminate with a Sunset Parade by the entire battalion of recruits (a free and open public event that is only offered four times a year). Following the Sunset Parade, the trolley will shuttle you back to the center of town. Tour lasts approximately 2.5 hours.

THE OCEAN VICTORIAN • 25 OCEAN ST., CAPE MAY

Local and regional designers exhibit their creativity and talent in presenting a dozen design spaces, each portraying a favorite holiday. This classic Mansard-style home was built soon after the great fire of 1879. It was the last structure to fall to that horrendous blaze that swept through what is now the town’s Historic District, and the current house was built on the charred timbers of its predecessor. The 5,000 square foot home haseen s ignifi s cant upgrades to the interior.
