A Coastal Gem Worth the Climb
Cape May Lighthouse is a gem! The views from the top are like something out of a postcard – you can see the ocean and the bay in all their glory. The climb is a bit of a workout, but totally worth it. The whole place is well-kept, and the museum is interesting too. If you’re in the area, it’s a great spot to soak in some coastal beauty.” -- Tripadvisor Review

Amazing Tour!
We did the Historic District Trolley Tour for the first time since we were little (probably around 20 years ago). We were one other couple due to the cold weather (not many people there in the offseason), but our guide was fantastic and informative. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour, our driver, and our guide. Everyone was super friendly!”

First Time Trolley Ride
“We opted for the Historic District Trolley Tour. After years of visiting Cape May as a child and then as an adult with my own family, this was the first time I had been on one of these tours. We loved it! Our tour guide and driver were wonderful! Lots of information about the area and I loved her added humor. We enjoyed it immensely and will be sure to recommend it to others!”

“A very nice view from the top (of the Cape May Lighthouse). There was an informative guide at the top to answer questions. If you get a nice sunny day, hopefully you can see Delaware and Pennsylvania. Be sure to get a combo ticket with the WW2 lookout tower a half mile away. Saves $2. Both combined will take about 90 minutes.”

Physick Estate: A House with History
We visited over MLK weekend and tacked the visit to the house onto our history trolley tour and we are so glad that we did. The history contained within the walls of this home is fascinating. The docent provided a wealth of interesting information and so much of the house remains original. Everyone should take the time to visit and appreciate this piece of history and beautiful home.”

Grand Lighthouse Cruise
SATURDAY, June 8: 10AM-3PM
Coastal and off-shore lighthouses have helped mariners navigate the Delaware Bay for years, but the off-shore lighthouses are best seen by boat. To aid ships sailing the treacherous mid-channel of Delaware Bay, a series of lighthouses was constructed in the 19th and early 20th century. Most of these are still operating and all are automated. They stand on pedestals surrounded by water out of sight of land. Visit seven of these off-shore lighthouses aboard the Cape May Whale Watcher and learn the unique history of each on this five-hour cruise that includes breakfast and lunch buffets; a cash bar is available. Cruise departs at 10am from the Miss Chris Marina, 2nd Avenue and Wilson Drive. Cruise is limited to 175 people. Free parking is available at the marina.
Adults $159.95; children (ages 12 & under) $125

LESSONS OF HISTORY
Sunday, Oct. 13: 5pm
Cape May Convention Hall, 714 Beach Ave. Presented by Dr. Craig L. Symonds
In this 12th year, Cape May MAC welcomes Dr. Craig L. Symonds to Cape May Convention Hall to present “The War Comes Home to America: U-boats off the Mid-Atlantic.” German U-boats made the mid-Atlantic one of the most dangerous places on earth in the first few months of 1942. The carnage they inflicted was out of proportion to their numbers and ships went down all along the coast from New York to Florida. How the United States dealt with this menace is one of the great stories of naval and U.S. history. Dr. Symonds taught history at the U.S. Naval Academy for 30 years and has earned numerous awards for his teaching and research. He is the author of 17 books translated into six languages and holds the Naval Historical Foundation Dudley Knox medal for lifetime achievement and the Pritzker Military Museum and Library Pritzker Prize for Lifetime Achievement in Military Writing. Tickets are limited. Advance reservations strongly recommended.
Adults $40
