I am here to tell you it is possible, and the best this is you can do it from anywhere in the world.

I have been privileged to start my own successful online business and I can work on it anywhere. I am from Zambia born in the heart of Lusaka and this has worked for me. I have tried this while I am at my home just outside of Lusaka city.

Let me start by saying , How to start an online business in Zambia, Africa and the methods below won’t work for you if: 1. You are looking for a get rich quick scheme. This is not a get rich quick scheme, where you just click a button and dollars start pouring out.

2. You are lazy. The below points won’t work if you are not ready to put in the work or if you feel entitled.

3. You think within the box. If you are not a forward thinker who thinks differently and is moving away from only mortar and clay economy this is not for you 4. You are not hungry. By this I mean if you do not have the desire to become more achieve high levels of income, now wait I have to back track a little here – not just desire but deep desire that aches like hunger pangs. If you are still satisfied with the status quo and the level of your income. This is not for you 5. You are not ready to invest. Time and money will be required, no matter how minimal. You have to be ready to spend time learning and growing your business If you are none of these things I wrote about above, then congratulations. You are on the right path in joining the new rich. If not you might as well end here, this article is for those serious about joining the new rich.

HOW I STARTED MY ONLINE BUSINESS IN ZAMBIA I was looking for an alternative stream of income, tired of just surviving and living month end to month end. Many times my salary was spent before I even received it and my debt was on a steady incline. I took a situation and trend analysis and I was able to see that I needed to change things drastically if I were to break away from my trajectory.

In my search for something that would allow me to generate income outside of my time in the office, there were many options online. Typically in Zambia I did not know where I could work 2 jobs or have a business on the side that worked for me ( I should say here that I have tried various options) but the common ones of trading or network marketing were not very easy for me. I knew I needed specific solution that would help me grow my skills and generate income.

I then begun to study and learn My learning was in the form of research, I searched how people earn additional income, how to get out of debt. I quickly begun to grow in knowledge and this made me hungry for more.

Before I begun this program, I kissed a few “frogs” I tried many solutions online that on the face of it seemed to provide what I was looking for and I have lost money on such schemes. Please avoid any thing that seems to promise reward without any work. They simply do not work.

As I engaged even more deeply in self- development I learned skills that helped me avoid debt but I was also better able to spot false schemes.

To the point where my source of income was completely dried up

Do it hard I found an interesting ink online and for the first time it didn’t sound too good to be true, it lined up with my desire to learn but also provided a way to generate income. My heart settled, for the first time the sea of my emotions was still and i had clarity on the decision I needed to make.

The cost to start was not high but felt like much because of my situation, but I was determined. I took a leap of faith I enrolled to study and learn methods I now employ in other businesses I am running. It has been life changing.

I went at it like my life depended on it( my life really did depend on it) I had no income and I had no choice. So I learned, burnt the midnight oil and begun to understand it – its pretty simple.

What made it even easier was I wasn’t alone.

Increase your knowledge of your line of business. Be invested in the area of growth and learning. Develop yourself as an expert in your field, aiming for the top only 3. Join a community that will be like a support group and keep you in line with your objectices and goals 4. Define your product. Whether you are using your own product or will simply sell a another parties product, Make sure it is one you truly believe will help your customers 5. Define your customer avatar. Be clear about your target audience and treat them as you would your own family. You would never trick or falsify information. Your customers will appreciate your authenticity.
