PEAK MENTAL PERFORMANCE TRAINING At Thomas, we know that being a student-athlete goes beyond competing. Our Mental Peak Performance Training program focuses on improving your self-confidence while enabling you to make good decisions and self-motivate. As important as physical fitness is to a student-athlete, we know that positive mental health is crucial to performing at your best.

28

STRENGTH & CONDITIONING With our year-round strength and conditioning program, our student-athletes stay in top shape in the off season and are prepared to compete on day one of the regular season. Our strength and conditioning coaches tailor specific workout plans for every program to make sure that you’re doing the right exercises to excel in your sport.

29

ACADEMIC SUPPORT For us, the student always comes first in student-athlete. Our coaches and staff are committed to success in the classroom. Many of our programs have required study hall hours, and we work closely with our Student Success Center to make sure student-athletes are receiving the peer tutor support that they need. Since we’re athletes, we also like to make things competitive. We have an annual academic challenge for our programs to record a team GPA of 3.0 or higher, with a special dinner as a reward for those that meet the goal. In 2019, a record 16 teams were recognized for achieving the goal, with the highest team GPA coming in at 3.58.
