I will be working on Spotto as a client collaboration in which I will be working with a Developer and I will act as the designer on the project. Spotto is an imminently launching online game in which users buy tickets to guess where a ball in withn a picture in order to win top prizes like luxury homes from all around the world. Spotto requires a brand brand identity as well as full suite of UI patterns to build the website and online game.
There is currently on one other website currently launched that offers the same sort of same game mechanic out there. After reaching heavily into existing products this is the only product that is still live and active with players.
In order to build the brand for Spotto and the website UI I looked into a range visual that used the circle form. Spotto needs a symbol that is assoicated with the game that is recognisable and memorable. As part of the game users will use a cross hair to select the target area in which they think the ball is situated. Therefore I started thinking around how this crosshair could be incorporated into the brand, doing this would also mean the logo mark can be used as a UI element with the game itself, unifying the brand experience.
User Spotto is aimed at anybody over the age of 18 as monetary prizes are involved, although the game is a form of gamabling as you are essentially placing a bet. The game is not stricitly asscoiated with and will not be marketed as a form of online gamabling. The brand should be accessible to all and be fun and engaging.

BRIEF 6: SPOTTO
Best of the Best Best of the Best is an online game in which users can spot the ball to win cars varying in price. Within Best of the best the price of the winning prize and the difficulty of the particualr images determine how much each ticket is priced to play the game. Much of the content for Spotto will mimic the content on Best of the Best however the UI will be much more advanced and less basic as well as being more aesthetically pleasing.

Brand Development
Wireframes
As part of the development I worked closely with the client to achieve something they were happy with. Initally I used a san-serif typeface which was quite sharp however they suggested rounding off the typography to made it more friendly. I then looked a range of colour palette some which were very bright and colourful but ultimately we settled on a palette that was realistic and could also be used for UI elements so that the website was cohesive with the brand.
As my role as Designer I also had to plan out exactly how the site would work and how users would move between each section of the website I did this by creating a workflow for the website as well as simply wireframing exactly what would be on each of the pages therefore when It came to the design stage content could be easily mocked up in illustrator.
