ABC OF SALVATION
Music is my first love… I have to be honest I simply love music nearly all kinds, but my real favourites currently are classics; show music and Christian songs and hymns. Having been a piano player from about age four. Though never having attained any grades and only a brief period of teaching am really mainly self taught, but having been bitten by the bug or gifting it has never left . If I see a piano anywhere in my travels the urge to play it, however badly!! is always there I have had an organ for about 20 years and have challenged myself to play some of the most diabolical pieces ever conceived by composers. and have seen improvements through determination it may in fact now almost be possible to convince my hearers of my faultless playing, but sadly that is not always the case. The key to success is never giving up and continual practice. So my advice is keep at what ever gives you pleasure, music, sport or whatever, because you can succeed.
ACKNOWLEDGE that you are a sinner, and have fallen short of God’s perfection Romans 3:23
BELIEVE in the Lord Jesus Christ as your personal lord and saviour Revelation 21:27
CONFESS with your mouth that Jesus Christ is now your Lord by telling others about it. Scary
The ABC of salvation looks a very simple way to enter into God’s kingdom while here on earth. Obviously there is much more to faith than just being saved from hell itself. It is then an opportunity to grow closer to God and get to know Him by reading His word. Speaking to Him and being in fellowship with other believers in a church where you can feel at home and become a useful servant. Knowing more of His love for you no matter where you have come from. Even the vilest sinner who turns away from his sin is welcomed into the kingdom of God. There is no entry fee. God came to save us sinners. Those who recognised their need of Him and who didn’t have it all together. He is a God who already knows all about you and me, even our hidden sins and He still loves us. A free gift without catches must be a one off in our materialistic world. But the choice is always in your hands. God will not force anyone to love him.
