TRANS-PACIFIC TRAVEL - CHECKLIST Timbers Kauai is one of only a select few resorts approved to operate safely under the Enhanced Movement Quarantine (EMQ) or “resort bubble”. Guests & Owners may travel freely throughout the 450-acre oceanfront sanctuary of Hokuala enjoying worldclass golf, farm-to-table dining, sport, cultural & retail programming. Here is a quick checklist to help make your travels simple & organized: 1
PRE-DEPARTURE
Receive negative test result for COVID-19 via an FDA approved PCR or Antigen test within 72 hours of your departure from the Mainland. Email results to Timbers Kauai. (If test results are not available before arrival, you must quarantine for 10 days or the length of the stay, whichever is shorter until test results arrive.) Create your Safe Travels account (https://travel.hawaii.gov) & complete the mandatory Travel & Health Form. Once complete, you will receive a QR code. Complete the County of Kaua'i Arrival Form. Print and carry hard copies of your negative covid test results. Download the AQUA app. Tip: You must have an iPhone model 7 and up or Android model 8 and up. You are also able to rent a device at $50 per phone, with a $250 deposit per phone. 2
UPON ARRIVAL
Receive an EMQ bracelet and connect to your AQUA app. Timbers Kauai's front desk staff will assist in setup to help to make this process seamless. Once you're within the EMQ ("resort bubble") you MUST stay within the Hokuala property for 3 days. Masks are to be worn at all times when in public areas and during all sponsored activities. Schedule your post-arrival test for 72-hours or more after your exact arrival date and time. This may be conducted on-site or at a testing center near Timbers Kauai. Advance reservations required; charges will be added to your room for your convenience, for in-house test services.

Post arrival test results will be registered with the Front Desk. (If you do not or choose not to have a second negative COVID-19 test, you may continue to participate in the EMQ program at Timbers Kauai for the duration of the 10-day requirement.) Once your negative test results have been received, visit the front desk to have the AQUA watch removed. You are now free to enjoy all that the Garden Isle has to offer. Individuals traveling to Timbers Kauai from a neighboring island are able to bypass quarantine with a few easy steps. This includes trans-pacific travelers who have been on a neighboring island for at least 72-hours. Here is a quick checklist to help make your travels simple & organized: 1
PREREQUISITE
Transpacific travelers must take a pre-travel test with negative results and adhere to the guidelines for each island when initially arriving in Honolulu, Maui, Kona or Hilo. Remain on O'ahu, Hawai'i Island (Big Island) or Maui for 3+ days.

Take a pre-travel Covid-19 test 72-hours before departing to Kaua'i with a Hawai‘i Inter-County Trusted and Travel Partner (https://hawaiicovid19.com/travel-partners) 3

Complete the County of Kaua'i Arrival Form. Create your Safe Travels account (https://travel.hawaii.gov) & complete the mandatory Travel & Health Form. You must upload your test results. Tip: Also print out a hard-copy to bring with you. 4

If negative test results are not available before arrival, you are able to quarantine at Timbers Kauai for 10 days or the length of the stay, whichever is shorter until test results arrive. If you have received and uploaded your negative results to the Safe Travels app, you are now free to enjoy all that the Garden Isle has to offer. Please visit responsibly and safely, wearing your mask when in public spaces. If you have not been on a neighbor island for at least 3 days, you may qualify for the Enhanced Movement Quarantine ("resort bubble").
