It selects diverse and qualified individuals to provide a structured program that enhances leadership skills and community involvement for the betterment of all citizens, businesses, organizations and governments in Douglas County.

Congratulations to the 2018 Chamber Raffle Winners! The Douglas County Chamber is pleased to announce the winners of the 2018 Douglas County Chamber Raffle. A total of 350 tickets were sold by the Chamber Board of Directors. The raffle drawing was held at the Comcast Business After Hours sponsored by Pioneer Land Group at The Centre at Arbor Connection on May 31st. The evening was full of anticipation and excitement as each ticket was drawn. The winner of the first ticket drawn for the $100 prize was Rosco Sayyar. The $500 prizes for every 50th ticket drawn were awarded to Valerie Howell, Chris Stanley, Nancy Webster and Peggy Walker; Sayward Messelter, Charles Camp, Chris Pumphrey, Trina Smith, and Ira Noble. The final two ticket holders were present at the event and after a quick negotiation, Deynna Jones-Respress and Kyle Gable split the $2,000 and $10,000 prizes, awarding them $6,000 each.

The Chamber Raffle supports the multiple community services and programs for Chamber Members such as networking events, monthly training seminars, the Buy Local program, and more. The mission of the Douglas County Chamber is to support, promote and attract business for the advancement of our community. The Chamber currently serves nearly 700 member businesses.
