Raffle Tickets NOW: Win BIG on May 31st!
Ticket sales are underway for the13th Annual Reverse Raffle. The Chamber Raffle supports multiple community services and programs for members such as training seminars, the Buy Local Program, and more. A total of 350 tickets will be sold at $100 each. Drawings will take place on May 31st from 5 to 7 p.m. at The Centre at Arbor Connection during the Chamber’s monthly Comcast Business After Hours sponsored by Pioneer Land Group. Tickets can be purchased from Chamber Board members or the Chamber office located at 6658 Church Street in Douglasville.

OrthoAtlanta Celebrates Renovation and Welcomes Two Staff Members OrthoAtlanta Douglasville staff, clients and Chamber representatives gathered to celebrate their recent renovation and two new doctors by holding a DC Chamber Ribbon Cutting on March 15th. OrthoAtlanta Douglasville is the second-largest physician-owned orthopedic and sports medicine practice in the greater Atlanta area offering comprehensive orthopedic care. They are located at 6002 Professional Parkway in Douglasville.
Kingdom Living International Celebrates Grand Opening of New Location
Kingdom Living International (KLI) senior pastor, Jeral Oliver, staff, friends, and Chamber representatives celebrated the grand opening of their new facility by holding a DC Chamber Ribbon Cutting on April 5th. KLI strives to promote a higher, more positive standard for living through the teaching of biblical principles. Kingdom Living International is located at 5727 Palazzo Way in Douglasville.
Up By The Bootstraps, Inc. Now Serving Students of Douglas County Up By The Bootstraps, Inc. founders Gwyndolyn Parker and Margaret McCarley, family, friends, and Chamber representatives celebrated the formation of their organization by holding a DC Chamber Ribbon Cutting on April 18th. Up by the Bootstraps is a local nonprofit that provides affordable SAT prep sessions, mentoring and other educational opportunities. They serve students in the Douglas County community.
Victor Jimenez State Farm Agency Celebrates Grand Opening
State Farm Agent, Victor Jimenez, his staff, friends, and Chamber representatives celebrated the grand opening of their location by holding a DC Chamber Ribbon Cutting on April 19th. Victor Jimenez State Farm Agency is located at 6487 Spring Street in Douglasville.
Meet to Our New Membership Sales Representative! The Chamber Board of Directors and staff are happy to introduce our newest team member, Sandy Gamble! She is the new Membership Sales Representative. Sandy has been a longtime resident of Douglas County, and has previously been involved in the Chamber through her role at her previous job, and has experience in management and sales.
DC Chamber Welcomes Phase Fore, Inc. to 2018 Chairmans Club
The Douglas County Chamber is pleased to announce its newest members of the Chairmans Club: Ms. Bonita Martin, PE and Ms. Susan Arnett with Phase Fore, LLC. Phase Fore is an electrical engineering company providing power system studies, electrical safety training, and consulting services. Martin and Arnett were officially welcomed as a Chairmans Club member at the Chamber Luncheon on April 17th.
Phase Fore brings over two decades of experience and is committed to serving the Douglas County and the surrounding community for many years to come. Their power system studies offerings include short-circuit studies, coordination studies, incident energy analysis, and Bonita Martin load flow and voltage drop calculations. They also provide consulting Director of Engineering services such as NFPA 70E compliance and electrical safety program development and management. DC Chamber Now Accepting Applications for 2018 Small Businesses of Excellence! The Chamber is proud to recognize Small Business rockstars and the important role they play in Douglas County and its economy. Each year, a small business of the community is chosen as the Small Business of Excellence. This program is co-presented with the Douglas County Sentinel. Application Requirements: • Must be a DC Chamber Member • Business has Demonstrated Increase in Sales • Has Been in Business for a Minimum of Two Years • Contributed to Chamber or Community-Oriented Projects • Have 50 Employees or Less • Be For-Profit Application Information Session: Have questions about the application? Dr. Rule brings more than 28 years of experience in technical education to West Georgia Technical College. He has been a technical instructor, chief information officer, vice president for academic affairs, vice president for economic development, and vice president for student affairs at Chattahoochee Technical College. Dr. Rule joined TCSG as Assistant Commissioner for Data, Planning, and Research in 2016.
