Youth Leadership Douglas is a leadership training program grounded in community awareness, community service and in developing your personal potential to lead. Leadership Douglas 2017

Leadership Douglas is a program of the Douglas County Chamber Foundation. The mission of Leadership Douglas is to identify, encourage & develop leadership abilities so that its participants grow both personally & professionally. Through presentations, discussions and work sessions, the program seeks to inspire those who are willing to get involved. Participants are given the opportunity to meet and interact with current community and business leaders throughout the program. Participants in Leadership Douglas benefit from getting to know one another and from the exchange of ideas and experiences. The class members are exposed to these topics: Leadership, Government/Judicial, Economic Development, Social Services, Cultural Diversity, Education, Public Safety, Recreation, Water Resources and Arts and Culture.
