Dozens of children and adults took a break from the heat and cooled off at the Lynch Park Pool off Richard Allen Drive. Some kids even got to swim for free, thanks to the Newnan Classic Car Club. The group hosted its 15th annual Kids Day at the pool and paid the entrance fee for the first 75 children. Free hamburgers, hot dogs and drinks were also provided by the club.
