The alleway project will boast two new restaurant experiences along with already popular Knife and Stone. Store owners Laura and David Gabbard tell us, “Visitors always tell us, ‘I wished we had a store like this in our neighborhood.’” Since 2017 Local Provisions has been a neighborhood market that had originally opened on Jefferson Street. Laura shared, “Truthfully our building at 8 Jefferson Street sold, so we had enough time given to find a place. The wine offerings have expanded with the move, “We want to have different offerings than a grocery store; our selection of boutique wine is really what sets us apart,” Laura says. Her husband Dave keeps busy with merchandising and is working towards launching healthy lunch alternative grab-and-go meals. Local resident, Jordan says, “I love stopping in Local Provisions. They have all kinds of cool stuff, coffee, wine, cookies. Folks are from all around, and they love strolling in to check it out.” Both Laura and Dave say their customer service keeps bringing people back into the shop, “We love all of our customers and really appreciate their business. The City of Newnan has really embraced us since our opening in 2017.” Jonathan is the creator of The City Menus LLC.
