21. 63 students were recognized in the parade which started at GO Church on Highway 34 and ended at Trinity’s campus. The graduates were escorted by the Coweta County Sheriff ’s Office and Fire Department down the parade route, according to Oscar Camejo, director of marketing and communications for Trinity. Families decorated their cars for the occasion and drove around Trinity’s campus so teachers could cheer them on as they rode by. The parade ended at the preschool/early learning building, where cars filled the parking lot
surrounding the building. Families tuned their radios to 98.7 FM to listen to the live broadcast of the ceremony. The ceremony included a performance by Trinity’s Drum Corp, worship, opening prayer and a brief address by Dr. Mark Anthony, head of school. Sherry Randolph, Early Learning School Principal, led the ceremony. Families honked their horns when the name of their graduate was announced over the radio. Teachers and staff members walked to each vehicle to hand the graduates their diplomas. The ceremony ended with a final presentation of the graduates. “The Trinity Christian community came today in a unique form to celebrate,” Camejo said.
