William Marcus Wilson, 23, of Sharpsburg, is found guilty of involuntary manslaughter in the 2020 shooting in Statesboro that killed 17-year-old Haley Hutcheson. Wilson, son of former Coweta County fire Chief Pat Wilson, had said he fired in self-defense when a truckload of teens yelled racially charged phrases at him and his girlfriend and then tried to run him off the road. He was sentenced to 10 years.
