CARNIVAL INFORMATION

Mega Passes must be purchased in advance for $25. Last day of sale will be Wednesday, September 21 – 5:00 PM in stores and Midnight online.

Mega Passes are good for a one time use any day of the fair and cover gate admission and unlimited rides all day.

Armbands are available for purchase at the fair during designated times only for $25. They get you unlimited rides during specified times on the day of issue only.

Individual tickets for rides are available during normal fair hours.

Cost of rides varies.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS FROM COLUMBUS (I-85 North) Take Exit 41. Turn left onto U.S. 27/29 North (toward Newnan). Take the first street to the LEFT past Waffle House (Pine Road). Fairgrounds Complex will be on your left after crossing the railroad tracks.

FROM ATLANTA (I-85 South) Take Exit 41. Turn right onto U.S. 27/29 North (toward Newnan). Take the first street to the LEFT past Waffle House (Pine Road). Fairgrounds Complex will be on your left after crossing the railroad tracks.

FROM NEWNAN, take U.S. 29/27 South (Greenville Street). Pine Road turns off to the right before you reach the turn-off to the right of Georgia Highway 16 East and the Ramada Inn. Complex will be on your left after crossing the railroad tracks.

FROM HIGHWAY 16 WEST. When you get near Newnan, you will pass Orchard Hills Golf Course. Go to the stop sign (you will pass over I-85 between Orchard Hills and the stop sign). Turn right at the stop sign and go to the first left (Pine Road).

For many people today, contact with wildlife is limited to turning the page of a book or pressing the button on the remote control to watch nature shows. EarthQuest programs enhance awareness and illustrate the true nature of animals through live demonstrations, giving audiences an unparalleled experience that media cannot provide.

In addition to live shows, EarthQuest will have their Parrot House at the fair. Come experience how amazing and exciting nature is in person, as you learn more about all types of birds, including falcons, owls, as well as other wildlife such as reptiles and bears.

Animal expert and a fair goers’ favorite, Brian Staples returns with his Animal Encounter Show. The audience gets to interact with exotic animals from around the world. As he brings animals onto the stage, children are invited to become temporary zoo keepers. Both educational and entertaining, Brian Staples and his animal co-stars delight young and old alike. In addition to the stage show, Staple’s Safari Zoo will give fairgoers an opportunity to pet exotic and domestic animals such as a camel, zebra or llama. Animal Magic will be performing all ten days of the fair.

It’s a great time for the entire family, as you watch these little porkers speed around their track, “pig paddle” their way through the water obstacle and then burn up the sawdust as they race toward the checkered flag. There will be squeals of laughter as you experience the thrill of victory and the agony of defeat cheering your little piggy on to victory!

Sit. Stay. And get ready to howl as this Charlie Chaplin-ish clown and his personality-plus pack of mutts climb ladders, walk the tightrope and skateboard. Johnny Peers and his Muttville Comix will tickle funny bones and steal hearts with uncanny canine feats.

Johnny Peers and the Muttville Comix have appeared in Ringling Brothers & Barnum and Bailey Circus and on David Letterman. Now you can see them at the Coweta County Fair!

The Mobile Dairy Classroom is a dynamic and fun educational program operated by the Agricultural Commodity Commission for Milk. The 30 ft. classroom features a fully operational milking parlor containing a live, holstein dairy cow used for milking and feeding demonstrations. The program message is geared toward elementary school children, but is a great learning opportunity for parents and kids alike. Visit this interactive display to find out how a gallon of milk makes it from the corral to your kitchen table.

Visit the classrom on Thursday and then bring the kids back on Saturday for the 4-H Dairy Heifer show at noon to see those dairy cows before they’re all grown up!

This new payout schedule will increase the overall guaranteed payout to fair exhibitors.

1st - 3rd place winners in each Class will be awarded ribbons only.

Adult premiums per Division are: 1st - $25; 2nd - $15; 3rd - $10.

Youth Premiums per Division are: 1st - $15; 2nd - $10; 3rd - $5.

Departmental award premiums: Best in Department, $30 It is possible for an exhibitor to win more than one award within a Division.

This new payout schedule will increase the overall guaranteed payout to fair exhibitors.

1st - 3rd place winners in each Class will be awarded ribbons only.

Adult premiums per Division are: 1st - $25; 2nd - $15; 3rd - $10.

Youth Premiums per Division are: 1st - $15; 2nd - $10; 3rd - $5.

Departmental award premiums: Best in Department, $30 It is possible for an exhibitor to win more than one award within a Division.

Other departmental awards are: Art Dept., Essence of Agriculture Award - $15 Photography Dept., Capturing Agriculture Award; Baked Goods Dept., Best Georgia Produce Recipe - $15.

One adult and one youth winner overall will be selected for each of these special awards.

EarthQuest programs enhance awareness and illustrate the true nature of animals through live demonstrations, giving audiences an unparalleled experience that media cannot provide.

In addition to live shows, EarthQuest will have their Parrot House at the fair. Come experience how amazing and exciting nature is in person, as you learn more about all types of birds, including falcons, owls, as well as other wildlife such as reptiles and bears.

Animal expert and a fair goers’ favorite, Brian Staples returns with his Animal Encounter Show. The audience gets to interact with exotic animals from around the world. As he brings animals onto the stage, children are invited to become temporary zoo keepers. Both educational and entertaining, Brian Staples and his animal co-stars delight young and old alike. In addition to the stage show, Staple’s Safari Zoo will give fairgoers an opportunity to pet exotic and domestic animals such as a camel, zebra or llama. Animal Magic will be performing all ten days of the fair.

It’s a great time for the entire family, as you watch these little porkers speed around their track, “pig paddle” their way through the water obstacle and then burn up the sawdust as they race toward the checkered flag. There will be squeals of laughter as you experience the thrill of victory and the agony of defeat cheering your little piggy on to victory!

Sit. Stay. And get ready to howl as this Charlie Chaplin-ish clown and his personality-plus pack of mutts climb ladders, walk the tightrope and skateboard. Johnny Peers and his Muttville Comix will tickle funny bones and steal hearts with uncanny canine feats.

Johnny Peers and the Muttville Comix have appeared in Ringling Brothers & Barnum and Bailey Circus and on David Letterman. Now you can see them at the Coweta County Fair!

The Mobile Dairy Classroom is a dynamic and fun educational program operated by the Agricultural Commodity Commission for Milk. The 30 ft. classroom features a fully operational milking parlor containing a live, holstein dairy cow used for milking and feeding demonstrations. The program message is geared toward elementary school children, but is a great learning opportunity for parents and kids alike. Visit this interactive display to find out how a gallon of milk makes it from the corral to your kitchen table.

Visit the classrom on Thursday and then bring the kids back on Saturday for the 4-H Dairy Heifer show at noon to see those dairy cows before they’re all grown up!

Mega Passes must be purchased in advance for $25. Last day of sale will be Wednesday, September 21 – 5:00 PM in stores and Midnight online.

Mega Passes are good for a one time use any day of the fair and cover gate admission and unlimited rides all day.

Armbands are available for purchase at the fair during designated times only for $25. They get you unlimited rides during specified times on the day of issue only.

Individual tickets for rides are available during normal fair hours.
