Caleb Perry, an eighth grader this past year, was awarded a BP-GOAL Scholarship to attend The Heritage School for the 2012-2013 school year. The Georgia GOAL Scholarship Program’s BP-GOAL Scholars Fund awarded 15 scholarships, enabling qualifying students to attend Georgia private schools beginning in 2012-2013. BP and its Castrol subsidiary, longtime education supporters, have embarked on the new scholarship program to provide Georgia parents with more options for the education of their children.
Senior Cara Stechmann was honored as a 2013 Georgia Scholar by the Georgia Department of Education. The Georgia Scholar Program is an effort by the Georgia Department of Education to identify and recognize high school seniors who have achieved excellence in school and community life. The program is coordinated by the Office of School Improvement of the Georgia Department of Education through local coordinators in each public school system and private schools in the state.

Each year, members of the Coweta-Fayette Trust (the management arm of Operation Round-Up) award scholarships to outstanding students.
We take education very seriously here at Coweta-Fayette EMC, and we think it's among our corporate responsibilities to support local students and the educational systems within our service area. That’s why we established the Melissa Segars Memorial Scholarship which is funded through the EMC’s Operation Round-Up program.
