A number of Newnan High seniors in the Class of 2011 have received scholarship offers from colleges. ■ Lendell Arnold, son of Pamela Arnold and Wendell Houston, has received an academic scholarship to attend the United States Air Force Academy Prep School. The scholarship covers tuition, room and board, monthly allowance, and medical and dental care. ■ Kiara Bennett, daughter of Toni and Simuel Hudson, is a recipient of an academic scholarship from Tuskegee University in the amount of $2,000 per year, renewable for four years, for a total of $8,000. ■ Christopher Beno, son of Raymond and Elizabeth Beno, is a recipient of a football scholarship in the amount of $12,000 per year, renewable for four years at Shorter University, for a total of $48,000. ■ Nicole Cato, daughter of Darrin Cato and Mary Ann Smith, has been awarded the Founder’s Scholarship and the LaGrange College Alumni Scholarship to attend LaGrange College in the amount of

$11,000 per year renewable for 4 years. This is a total of $44,000. ■ Whitley Caver, daughter of Sue Frix, is a recipient of a Berry Academic Scholarship. ■ Joe Crain III, son of Joe and Sandee Crain, has been selected to receive an academic scholarship to attend Berry College. His scholarship is $11,500 per year, renewable for four years, for a total of $46,000. ■ T’Erica Dawson, daughter of Faye Dawson, will attend Mercer University on a scholarship in the amount of $12,000 per year for a total of $48,000. ■ Katherine Love Davis, daughter of Angela and Paul Davis, is the recipient of a Mercer University academic scholarship in the amount of $17,000 per year, renewable for four years for a total of $68,000. ■ Bethany Farmer, daughter of Richard and Leona Farmer, will attend Andrew College on the Andrew Choraliers Music Scholarship in the amount of $11,000, renewable for 2 years for a total of $22,000.
