Valedictorian: Grant Van Gerpen
Grant has been an active member of the Beta club for the past three years and a member of the National Honors Society, of which he served as president this year. His high achievements in the area of academics have earned him award recognition each year of his high school career. He has also been a part of cross country and the varsity track Team as well as a stint on the archery team. Grant is a Kiwanis International Scholar Award recipient as he attained a numerical average of 95 or higher throughout his high school career. Grant is a Zell Miller Scholarship recipient and will be attending Georgia Tech in the Honors College, double-majoring in physics and chemistry.
Salutatorian: Victoria Taylor
Throughout her days at Trinity Victoria Taylor has demonstrated a desire for academic rigor, showcased her incredible talents on the stage, participated the Great Trinity cookie bake off, baked cupcakes to share with the staff on multiple occasions with her side business Treats by Tori, and is the co-founder and vice president of Dignity, a charitable organization that distributes food and other products to Atlanta’s underserved. Tori has been a member of the Student Council and Beta Club for three years, National Honor Society during her junior and senior years, an active member in Thespian Troupe 8184, Mu Alpha Theta, varsity cross country, and varsity archery. She is Trinity’s STAR student and is recognized as a Kiwanis International Scholar. As a Zell Miller Scholar, 100 percent of her tuition expenses will be covered. Additionally, she is recognized as a National Merit Scholarship recipient. She plans to attend the University of Georgia’s Honors College.

Accomplishments and honors
Faith Baugh
Faith has attended Central for one semester and is receiving an honor cord. She played Varsity tennis. Faith is undecided about her plans after graduation and is Hope Scholarship eligible.
Kimira Hamilton
Kimira has attended Central for two years. During her time here, she has received the Most Improved Award in Math. Prior to attending Central, she received an award for cheerleading and a dance competition medal. After graduation, she plans to join the Navy.
Maggie Scarbrough
Maggie has attended Central for three years and is receiving an honors stole and key club medallion.
During her time here, she has received three Academic Mastery Awards, the Godly Character Award, was the winner of the VFW Voice of Democracy Essay Contest, and First Place for her charcoal drawing in the CCS Art Show. She is a member of the Key Club where she has served as the Vice President since August of 2022. She is also a member of the National Society of High School Honors and Honor Roll. Maggie will attend Young Harris College and major in Creative Writing. She has been awarded the Young Harris College Sharp Scholarship of $72,000 for four years and is Hope Scholarship eligible.
Saighan Ivey
Saighan has attended Central for five years and is receiving a high honors stole and Valedictorian medallion. She has been on the A Honor Roll from 9th through 12th grade. She has not decided where she will attend college but has been accepted into the University of North Georgia and is eligible for the Zell Miller Scholarship.
Isabeau Davis
Isabeau has attended Central for 14 years and is receiving a high honors stole, Beta Club cord, Key Club medallion, Point University pin, and West Georgia Tech cord. She has been on the A and A/B Honor Roll, a Key Club member, and Beta Club member, and has received a certificate in Criminal Investigation. She lettered in ninth grade in soccer and has completed 15 hours of dual enrollment. She has been accepted to Valdosta State University and plans to major in management. She is eligible for the Hope Scholarship and is waiting to hear how much she will receive in additional scholarships.
Maddie White
Maddie has attended Central for three years and is receiving an honor cord, Key Club medallion, beta club cord, West Georgia Tech cord, and national society of high school scholars stole and medallion. She is on the Honor Roll, a Key Club member, Beta Club member, and Honor Society Member.
She lettered in color guard at Northgate, and was the co-captain her junior year and captain her senior year for Varsity cheer. She currently has 12 dual enrollment hours and plans to attend the University of West Georgia and major in criminology. Maddie has received scholarship offers totaling $82,500.
Jesse Ferrier
Jesse has attended Central for four years and is receiving a honors stole and west georgia technical cord. During this time, Jesse has remained on the A/B honor roll throughout his academic career at Central Christian; he has earned the certificate of Aviation Achievement by completing the Introduction to Aviation Maintenance Course with Mr. Dana Vinson. Jesse has lettered in Varsity baseball. He has taken six hours of Dual Enrollment courses in the field of Criminal Justice. Jesse plans to attend West Georgia Technical College where he will be working to secure an associate degree in engineering technology.
Anthony (Ant) Otero
This is Ant’s first year at Central, and he is receiving an honor cord. He lettered in basketball, was on the First team of AllRegion, was an All-State player and played in the GAPPS All-Star game. He plans to attend Georgia State University and major in chemistry. Ant is eligible for the Hope Scholarship.
Diana Edwards
Diana has been at Central for two years and is receiving a honors stole. She is a Red Belt Double Black Stripe in Taekwondo. She plans to attend West Georgia Tech to major in computer science and is Hope Scholarship eligible.
Kennede Fleming Kennede has been at Central since sixth grade and is receiving a high honors stole, key club medallion, and beta club cord. She has been on the A/B Honor Roll in 9th-12th grades and received Academic Mastery Awards in the following subjects: Introduction to Literature, Earth and Space Science, Abiding in Jesus and History of the World. She has also received Academic Excellence awards in Government and Bible. She received a most improved student award and special project award. She is a member of the National Beta Club, the National Society of High School Scholars Member and the President of Key Club. Kennede lettered in varsity cheer from 2018-2023 with one season as captain. She plans to attend the University of South Carolina and major in mass communications and has received a total of $84,000 over four years in scholarships. She is also Hope Scholarship eligible.
Evelyn Schwartz Evelyn has attended Central for two years and is receiving a honors stole and Concordia cord. She has received the following awards: Honor Roll, Student of the Year, and Christian Character Award. She received third Place in the VFW Voice of Democracy Written Essay Competition. Evelyn has participated in the following sports: JV and Varsity volleyball, JV and Varsity basketball, Varsity track and field, Varsity basketball and Varsity tennis. She also participated in the GAPPS Junior/ Senior Volleyball Showcase, received an AllRegions nomination for volleyball and went to state. Evelyn has served as a student ambassador, was student of the year and received a Christian Character Award. She has taken a total of 15 hours of Dual Enrollment courses through Concordia University of Ann Arbor, Michigan where she will attend this fall. Her plan is to major in Secondary Education in Mathematics with a Lutheran Teacher Diploma. She has received a total of $280,536 in scholarship offers over four years and is Hope Scholarship eligible.
Jayden Bevillard
Jayden has attended Central for three years and has been on the Honor Roll every year in high school. He is receiving an honors stole and Beta Club cord. He is a member of the Beta Club and Key Club. He has played on the Konos golf team for three years, has placed first, second and third in golf tournaments, and for the past two years has been part of the second place winning team in the state tournament. In 2021 and 2022, Hurricane Junior Golf National ranked him in the top 10 best male golfers. He will be attending Truett McConnell University and majoring in exercise science. His scholarship offers total $13,800, and he is Hope Scholarship eligible.
Landon Summerell
Landon has been at Central since eighth grade and has been on the A honor roll every year in high school. He is receiving a high honors stole and university of west georgia cord. He is a member of the Beta Club and Key Club serving as Vice-President in 10th grade. He participated in the History Bowl and received honors in math. Landon played Varsity Basketball 9-12th Grades, participating in the state playoffs all four years. He had the best shooting percentage in 11th grade and played on the GAPPS All-Star Team in 12th grade. Landon has played Varsity baseball 9-12th grades and was selected for All-Region in 11th and 12th grades. He was also selected as homecoming prince three years in a row. So far he has completed 33 dual enrollment credit hours and will be attending Kennesaw State University in the fall where he will major in biochemistry. His plan is to become a pediatric dentist. Landon has received a total of $62,000 over four years in scholarships and is Hope Scholarship eligible.
Tymeer Ferguson
Tymeer has been at Central for four years and has been on the Honor Roll all four years. He is receiving a high honors stole and Beta Club cord. He is a member of the Beta Club and has received several awards including a Mastery Award in Geometry and awards in aviation, Spanish and math. Tymeer is a member of the Stewart Foundation, a Boy Scout for eight years, and has participated in The Grady Hospital TELP program. His plan is to attend Georgia State University and major in sports medicine. Tymeer is eligible for the Hope Scholarship.
Jonah Furukawa Jonah has been at Central since eighth grade and has been on the high honor roll every year. He is receiving the salutatorian medallion, high honors stole, Beta Club cord, and University of West Georgia cord. He is a Key Club member, Beta Club member, participated in the Math Bowl and was on the track team. He has completed 18 dual enrollment credit hours and his plan is to go to Kennesaw State University to pursue civil engineering. Jonah is eligible for the Zell Miller Scholarship.
Kody Taylor Kody has been at Central since sixth grade and has been on the A-B Honor Roll 9th-12th grade. He is receiving a honors stole and Point University pin. He has played Varsity basketball 10th-12th grade and made the state all-star team his senior year. He has completed 15 hours of dual enrollment classes at Point University, is attending flight school at Horizon Aviation in Peachtree City, and will be pursuing a career as a commercial airline pilot. This fall he will be attending the University of West Georgia and majoring in business. Kody is also eligible for the Hope Scholarship.
Sam Terrell This is Sam’s second year at Central and he is receiving a high honors stole, Key Club medallion, University of West Georgia cord, and the Point University pin. He has achieved academic mastery in all classes he has taken at Central including precalculus and government and received the Excellence Award for British Literature. He was a bember of the Beta Club during 10th and 11th grade and a Key Club member during 11th and
12th grade. He has a 4.0
GPA for his dual enrollment classes and is starting college with 19 credit hours. Sam will be attending the University of Georgia and majoring in Mechanical Engineering while continuing to pursue his commercial pilot license. He will be receiving a University of Georgia Award of $39,000 for four years and is eligible for the Zell Miller Scholarship.
Lucas Gregory Lucas has attended Central for five years and is on the Honor Roll. He is receiving an honors stole and Point University pin. He is also a Beta Club and Key Club member. His plan is to attend Kennesaw State University and major in business. He has been awarded a University of Maine Merit Scholarship in the amount of $40,000 for four years and is Hope Scholarship eligible.
Larron Rainey Larron has attended Central all four years of high school and is on the Honor Roll. He is receiving the honors stole, Key Club medallion, Beta Club cord, and West Georgia Technical College cord. He is a Beta Club member, Key Club member, and received an Aviation Best Student Award. He has played Varsity football and baseball all four years and is a member of the Praise Team. This year Larron received the Hayden Student Leadership medal from Georgia Kiwanis for his leadership in the Key Club. He has completed nine hours of dual enrollment classes and plans to attend the University of West Georgia. Larron is receiving an additional $500 scholarship through University of West Georgia and is Hope Scholarship eligible.
Camden Haydon
Camden has been at Central for a total of eight years. He is receiving the high honors stole and West Georgia Technical College cord. Camden is also Hope Scholarship eligible.
Noah Hill Noah has been at Central since eighth grade and is receiving the honors stole, Key Club medallion, Beta Club cord, and University of West Georgia cord. He lettered in Varsity football all four years of high school. Noah is eligible for the Hope Scholarship and is attending Kennesaw State University in the fall.
Mason Minichowski
Mason has attended Central for three years and is receiving an honor cord. He is undecided about his plans after graduation.
Mercer Parrott
Mercer has been at Central since fifth grade and is receiving the high honors stole, Key Club medallion, Beta Club cord, and the West Georgia Technical College cord. He plans to attend college and get his pilot's license. Mercer is eligible for the Hope Scholarship.
Mattie Sensing
Mattie has been at Central for 12 years and is receiving an honors cord, Key Club medallion, West Georgia Technical College cord, Point University pin and University of West Georgia cord.
AJ Smith
This is AJ’s first year at Central. He lettered in Varsity Basketball and is undecided regarding his plans after high school.
Emma Freeman
Emma has attended Central for eight years and is receiving the honors stole. During her time here, she played Varsity Soccer. Emma is undecided about her plans after college but is Hope Scholarship eligible.

We take education very seriously here at Coweta-Fayette EMC, and we think it’s among our corporate responsibilities to support local students and the educational systems within our service area. That’s why we established the Melissa Segars Memorial Scholarship, the Technical Scholarship, and the Lineman Scholarship, which is funded through the EMC’s Operation Round-Up program.
