While many dental practitioners were lamenting the dearth of patients attending emergency surgery during lockdown Alert Level 3 and 4, Dr Elena Artyukh was quietly celebrating. The Howick dentist, who has been in the industry quarter of a century, believes it is the diligence shown by her patients over the years that meant none of them required emergency treatment during our strictest lockdown periods. For Dr Artyukh, who has had operated a dental surgery in the heart of Howick for 15 years, it is the gold standard.
