FINE ART YEARBOOK OVERVIEW
CONCEPT
AUDIENCE
Visitors to the end of year shows and Free Range Exhibition What We Cannot Say was the title that the our team came up with, which derived from Fine Art’s initial concept of Tacit in London, gallery owners, creatives, potential employers, Knowledge. The term Tacit Knowledge refers to the concept prospective students, art buyers. of knowledge that cannot be transferred by written form or verbally, something that related to their practice as quite often what they do is only realized after experiencing or from practice.

DESIGN CONCEPT
DESIGN SPECIFICATION
PRODUCTION SPECIFICATION
A consistently inconsistent layout of images throughout the publication, with images bleeding out of the page and creeping back in, which reinforces the idea of the front cover. This approach allowed for a free but structured layout, which is both functional and aesthetically sound. It is suitable for this book as it will host a range of different formats of work.

DESIGN CONCEPT
DESIGN SPECIFICATION
All spreads are unique and different to each other as they layout is determined by the type of work it is. The only thing that stays in the same position are the student names and their contact details. The choice of a light stock achieves a ‘shadowing’ effect through the paper which provides the reader with a glimpse of what’s on the other side.
