COVID-19 Information
THE FUN STARTS HERE!
INFORMATION
COVID-19 Information and Updates
Facility Guidelines
As Tinley Park-Park District prepared this brochure, the unprecedented restrictions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic affected program and event planning.
Face Covering Face coverings must be worn properly when entering and exiting the building, and in all common areas of our facilities including lobby, hallways and washrooms. Face covering must cover the nose and mouth completely. Once in the program or exercise area, check with staff/instructor for the latest requirement regarding face coverings. These rules are subject to change.
Decisions were made using the recommendations of the State of Illinois, the Illinois Department of Public Health and the Centers for Disease Control in place at that time. To limit attendance, many special events now require advance registration, have multiple sessions and/or staggered start times. Class enrollment limits are reduced to stay within limitations in effect at the writing of this brochure.
Good Hygiene Frequent hand washing requirements include at the beginning and end of programs, and using the available hand sanitizer throughout the facilities.
The Park District will continue to adapt activities and events to adhere to the most current recommendations and guidelines. Providing a safe and healthy environment for all patrons and staff to enjoy our programs and events remains our priority. All changes and updates will be posted to our website and social media channels.
Increased Cleaning and Sanitizing Since the start of the pandemic, Tinley Park-Park District has increased the frequency of cleaning and sanitizing our exercise equipment, facilities, program rooms and event locations.
Virtual Programs
Supplies Patrons should bring their own water bottles, towels, exercise mats, etc.
When possible, a virtual format of classes will be offered. Please look for the symbol above to determine if a virtual option is available. Additional virtual classes can be found in our Virtual Activities Brochure on our website. Look for the virtual program icon for classes that are either fully virtual, or will move to virtual if necessary.
Self-Assessment COVID-19 Symptom Questionnaire The Park District asks for your help in our efforts. Before attending any program or event, please take our SelfAssessment COVID-19 Symptom Questionnaire available on our website.

Community Theater presents Evelyn in Purgatory
By Topher Payne When complaints are filed against Chicago Public School teachers, they are sent to a Reassignment Center where they wait for months for their cases to be reviewed. Evelyn Reid lands in ‘the rubber room,’ where she encounters a group of teachers who have lost any hope of returning to a classroom. Over the course of the school year, these colleagues form an unlikely alliance, reminding each other of forgotten passions. They emerge ready to face life outside in unexpected new directions. By Craig Sodaro Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! Packed with hysterical Beatles references and puns, this magical mystery comedy will have your audience come together to remember all their favorite tunes. Though Sgt. Paprika (who inexplicably despises the Beatles) has tried to keep it a secret from the world, word gets out that the Fab Four spent a night in his Penny Lane Hotel. When a group of high school students publicizes this historic tidbit, Sgt. Paprika is incensed and fires Eleanor, the hotel manager. Meanwhile, his sister, Clarabell, schemes with a crooked psychiatrist to have Paprika committed to Happy Acres, an insane asylum! Would that make him the fool on the hill? Help! A Beatles fan club arrives with all their memorabilia, which is stolen by Mr. Mustard and his gang, bumbling art thieves who have slinked into town. Detective Johnny B. Good is called in to solve the crime and quickly zeros in on Sgt. Paprika as his prime suspect. It’s been a hard day’s night for poor Paprika, especially when the Beatles mysteriously appear to him in the middle of the night, proving he’s gone over the edge! Participants are only allowed to make one request per league. We try to fulfill a reasonable number of friendship requests, but none are guaranteed. A limited number of requests are granted in order to keep all teams evenly balanced. Siblings with the same last name and address are placed on the same team unless otherwise noted. Requests for specific coaches are not honored. Requests made after the registration deadline cannot be honored. Coaches are not allowed to make requests; coach's children are automatically placed on his/her team.
