JULY 4th COMMUNITY CELEBRATION For over 40 years, the Tinley Park-Park District has hosted a free community celebration of our country’s founding. This huge event includes live music, games for children and adults, crafts and more all leading up to the Grand Finale Fireworks Extravaganza. The celebration is attended by thousands of individuals and families from Tinley Park and throughout surrounding communities. Sponsors of this event enjoy generous benefits as shown below. We also accept in-kind sponsorships of merchandise, gift cards, etc., used for raffle prizes and giveaways.

Race Series The Park District offers local and regional runners three race opportunities each year. In March, the Running o’ the Green is an 8k with a definite St. Patrick’s Day feel. Our July 4 Community Celebration begins each year with a patriotic 5K. We conclude the series celebrating Thanksgiving with our November Turkey Trot. Race sponsorship offers a great opportunity to connect with the participants before and after the event.

Tinley Junction Mini-Golf & Batting Cages is nestled near the entrance to our largest and most popular parks. The property encompasses McCarthy Park and Centennial Park. The area offers athletics, picnic shelters, fishing and walking trails. Tinley Junction’s family-friendly amusements bring thousands of patrons from May through September each year. VOGT VISUAL ARTS CENTER The Vogt Visual Arts Center is a unique gem in the community where local and regional artists are featured in monthly gallery exhibits. An Artist Reception is held for each exhibit giving the community an opportunity to talk to the artists about their work. During the summer months, a Gazebo Jazz concert is added to the event. Gallery visitors enjoy warm summer evenings listening to the smooth jazz sounds of local musicians. Both the receptions and concerts are free to the public. TINLEY PARK PERFORMING ARTS CENTER The Tinley Park Performing Arts Center is the home of our very own Tinley Park Community Theater, Tinley Park-Park District’s Kidz, Children and Teen Theaters, and Graffiti on the 4th Wall comedy improv and open mic nights. The Center also offers numerous acting, improv and theater related classes throughout the year. BROCHURE ADVERTISING Advertise in the Park District’s program guide. Three full color brochures are published each year. Winter/Spring, Summer and Fall. The program guides are distributed to all Tinley Park households via U.S. mail*, at the Village Hall, Chamber of Commerce and Park District facilities. Each brochure is available on our website as well. Below are the available ad sizes and prices. Receive a 20% discount on a 3-brochure commitment from a single business (discount does not apply to the outside back cover ad). Ads are also included in our Virtual Recreation Program Guide which is available on our website only.
