Two local artists created the unique life sized, hand painted figures in the stable that they built out of centuries old wood. From the beginning of advent the nativity scene makes locals and guests alike stop and stare in wonder. On St.Nicholas day the action moves to the loud and colorful "Perchten Show" by the Salvenstadl at the entrance of Sรถll. This alpine tradition features devilish masks with giant bodies of straw, the "Perchten". They travel in groups from the far reaches of the region, to exorcise the winter spirits with their wild antics. Tirol Information
