Besides approximately 8,000 lectures and classes on offer each year, there are also more than 600 other university events. The core complex has its center in the historic rooms in the main university building, the Claudiana and the Catholic Theological Department, but also the buildings on Campus University Road displaying more contemporary architecture and the new CCB (Center for Chemistry and Biomedicine) on the banks of the Inn.
