Whilst TISB has an academic reputation, we believe strongly in the holistic approach to education and that each student should have the opportunity to grow academically, socially and emotionally Our desire is that our students will grow and progress throughout their time in school and leave TISB ready to face the future with confidence, self-belief and the ability to think of others
We must ensure that we support the development of each young person’s innate and still to be identified talents, ensure that teaching is of the highest quality, provide a culture that encourages humility and a passion for a life of learning
Throughout our student’s lives, especially after the pandemic, they will need to be flexible, adaptable and resilient; along with the ability to make meaningful relationships and seek out opportunities with confidence and lateral thinking Our future vision is to review and develop our curriculum, educational offering and the pastoral care of our community
The Indian context of TISB lends itself to a vigorous, academically focused and a school which sets high standards. However, we plan to communicate this benefit to parents and the wider community, promote smooth transitions between the sections of the school and give a real sense of a globally inspired and aspirational school
Our plans also include the development of the fabric of the school. Certainly, our newer facilities have supported the teaching and learning experiences in many areas, and we must ensure that our boarding facilities are commensurate with current standards
I hope that this document serves us well both internally and externally, maintains the long-held reputation of TISB, provides clarity for our ethos and values and sets up our wonderful school to face the challenges of educating global citizens of the future.

TISB is an extensive, well-kept and inspirational environment in which to learn, live and work Our beautiful grounds give us space and positivity; yet we need to focus on technology, processes, as well as using innovation to upgrade our buildings and internal environment to benefit our whole community and to provide for 21st century learning

As we approach our 25th anniversary we will develop our approach so that Alumni continue to feel part of our community and can contribute to our future success
