Commentary: Mikogo Orientation will take up to 30 minutes (possibly more) and this will ‘eat into’ the Module 1 of each VILT session on each subject area that is migrating from ILT to VILT Consideration should be given to a pre-recorded Mikogo Orientation session prior to attendance on VILT Module 1 for each subject area. The composition of the Mikogo Orientation is outlined below – these are fundamental aspects that the participant end-user has to know prior to effective VILT delivery.

STAGE 5: IMPLEMENT SOLUTION • Instructor-led introduction to the solution execution and the questions that should be asked at this stage? • Selling the solution to gain commitment to proposed implementers and the four Ps (presenting your case) – Moderator to introduce the four Ps. • Sell your solution activity where participants have to use Workbook to construct a 4P framework (in essence a presentation framework to ‘sell’ and communicate the solution). • Group question on preparing for the unexpected and contingency planning – sharing Whiteboard suggestions sent from participants.
SESSION 3/ MODULE 2 (20 MINS) STAGE 6: MONITOR & EVALUATE • Instructor-led session on monitoring with group questions and comments/voting used and barriers to monitoring. - Have we solved the problem? - Can we improve on what we have done? • Evaluation of solution using Edward de Bono’s six thinking hats to ‘creatively’ evaluate and monitor the solution using lateral thinking. • Instructor-led ‘best practise’ example and then participants to complete six hats thinking to evaluate the solutions they have and then a six hats quiz, to test application and ‘meaning’ behind each of the six hats. Practise with ‘real’ example. • De Bono Hats course evaluation activity, where participants write what they have learned from this course in each of the six hats by using the microphone and/or Feedback Pane.
